Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

So, there seems to be lots of drama and I'm kinda lost. The latest sigpatches are the ones bth posted a couple of pages ago, right?
 
I'm getting a black screen when booting emummc after updating to the latest atmosphere, hekate and the sigpatches bth provided. Weird.

Yeah, doubt it's sigpatches related. Just tried Amelia's and emummc still shows a black screen after the Atmosphere logo. Fucking hell.

that post was by impeeza which meant that he is no longer updating sig patches however i believe bth and blyth and ameliafox are still updating them but as impeeza stated the ips patcher tool is no longer going to be updated by him if some one else chooses to update it then i guess later sig patches will be possible i myself am only using syspatch as it works fine

I recently updated to ATM 1.11.1
and 22.1.0
also Sys-patch version v1.6.1
All the old games runs fine

I was using DBI598 installer all this while and updated with DBI_887_RU
and put all the 3 files into DBI Folder
When i launched....

Q1. I noticed everything is in russian. Is there an english latest version?
Q2. And there is bunch of missing files. What did i miss?

DBI V658 is latest official English release. But I am using for a while already the DBI patcher releases without any problem, and they are more recent and in English as well.

Don't know about which missing files you are talking. Maybe you mean the keys files? For latest DBI versions you are required to have them in order to use DBI properly. Just use the latest lockpick to get them.

Unofficially, there's dbi 849 in English, 874, and 881. 888 is the latest Russian. While bth will claim there sabotage is real, there has been zero reported cases of unofficial dbi translations causing any issues.

And the previous person mentioned, your dbi is complaining about missing keys. These are from prod.keys that get generated by lockpick rcm (NOT the pro version).

If you've already found it somewhere and posted a link here, you can also write what changes the Dbi_888 offers...

The sabotage may or may not be real but duckbill claims it is. To be absolutely safe it's better to use Goldleaf/Awoo/Cyberfoil. Cyberfoil in particular is the only one I've seen that has the ability to install games over MTP like DBI making it an ideal replacement. I hate having to run software on my PC to transfer games.

Duckbill rarely mentions the changes. There is no official changelog.

Sphaira also has this ability, although it comes with its own set of issues. Maybe itj will update it some day.

Thanks Guys

I tried to install the DBI874en by overwriting the files in the DBI Folder
But when i launch, it is still the DBI887_RU
It seems like i cannot "downgrade" the app

Anyhow, as per SuffahBish said i try the other method and Cyberfoil 1.4.3 seems close to what i need
"Install via MTP"

But there is something annoyed me
Q1. I install Cyberfoil by dropping the entire file to Switch Folder
When i launch Cyberfoil App
It shows me the error msg "Applet mode Not Supported"
The App works though

Q2. I proceed to use Install over MTP
Everything seems fine until 100% Completion message shown and waited a few moments
There is only 1 button to Exit. Press (B)
Either you Cancel Install or Go Back to the same screen
The "Cancel Install" doesn't seems to Uninstall the game
And there is no way to Exit the App from the Screen

I ended up pressing (Home) Button to Exit


Everything works fine and the game runs perfectly though

Hold R while launching a game. This will launch hbmenu as a game. If you use the album button it'll launch as an applet which has limited resources.

This is a known bug. You can keep installing games over MTP if you have more to install and yes just close the game to get out of it.

I've been using Sphaira since SBI officially went dark in English and the old DBI stopped functioning properly. What issues are there with Sphaira??
