DS Lite Third-Party Screw and Hardware Measurements
To isolate these measurements from the OEM DS Lite Screw and Hardware Measurement post, which I created some time back, I decided to create a new post.
I have also done measurements for other DS and 3DS consoles, so check them out.
Using a custom chart that I made, I will be using this as a reference to measure each screw with my calipers.
Measurements done with Calipers will only be done on one screw per category, and will be subject to some amount of inaccuracies due to the size of the screws and the tools I have. Measurements like Thread Pitch, Shank Length, Thread Length, and Recess Width are done by eyeballing it with my calipers and a microscope. Measurements like Thread Diameter and Screw Length will be far more accurate as I can physically clamp them in my calipers.
The four kits were essentially the same, but there were some quantity differences. I do not know why the AAA-Accessories Store's set was so different from the other sets, but judging by the product photo, it was intentional.
Since my OEM post doesn't have any caliper measurements as of the making of this post, I cannot say whether they make suitable replacements.
