Hi, I'm trying to import a mario kart 8 deluxe save (this one to be specific) on eden for my new retroid pocket 6. I've put the save (aka userdata.dat) under Android/data/com.miHoYo.Yuanshen/files/nand/user/save/0000000000000000/C0591858B324DD730021C71A4BAFE354/0100152000022000/

Every time I try and open the game it asks me to select my mii and resets the save. If i delete the save and create my own, that seems to work, but nothing is unlocked. I can see that when I put the save in the timestamp is 4-18-25. the timestamp never changes though. If i close out of the game, and reopen, the I go back to selecting a mii. NO matter what I try it seems this is always the case. I'm running the latest eden release on my retroid with system update 21.1.1 installed, and mario kart deluxe 3.03 update. Please help me figure this out thanks.

OK, I figured it out. It turns out you can't manually change files on eden for android. I never would have guessed that. I had to export a save in eden, figure out the naming of it, and then create a new zip file with the userdata.dat in the exact way eden expects it. Then I just reimported the correct save. I never would have guessed that it HAS to be done from a gui, but I'm glad it's finally working after hours of trying to figure it out...

Just happened with me. I KNOW I was transfering a GOOD save from my PC version of Eden onto an Odin Mini. Worked on PC. Didn't on the Odin.

Started the process described above, but I KNEW the naming convention was right and yet didn't work.

So...I closed out Eden on the handheld.
Plugged it into the PC
Transfered the GOOD savedata
Opened Eden on the handheld BUT DIDN'T START THE GAME
I did an EXPORT of the savadata
Finally I did an IMPORT of the savadata I just exported and IT WORKED!

I know a lot of games can bug out and WIPE savedata when updating Eden so ALWAYS do a back up of your root savedata folder before updating. I'm lucking in that I also share data between multiple devices with Syncthing and I set up a routine backup schedule to always have recent backups to refer to.

Anyway, long story short follow the steps above it you seemingly cant' get a known good SAVE to load.
