'd like to know if I can use Atmosphere to back up saves from my SysNand using either dbi or jksv? Or is it not possible because it's not yet supported?
You can use Homebrew on the SYSNand to export the savegames to files and then import them on EmuNAND, but if you really do not want to risk a ban by using homebrew on SYSNand, you can make a backup of your SYSNand by Hekate's NYX and on your PC use NXNandManager to export the savegames to files which can be used by JKSV to import them on EmuNAND.

there is a guide here you can look for it on the search bar at top of site.

Hi everyone, I have a Switch with eManad version 21.2.0 and my SysNand is on 22.0.0 (online, no ban). I use a chip in my Switch v1.

I'd like to know if I can use Atmosphere to back up saves from my SysNand using either dbi or jksv? Or is it not possible because it's not yet supported?

I just want to take the Pokémon saves from my eManad and transfer them to my unbanned SysNand profile to transfer the Pokémon to my Pokémon Bank.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

No cfw for 22.0.0 atm

I noticed that when I go into "all software," the thumbnails now take forever to show the images. This happens every time I try to view it. Any idea what's wrong or if this will ever get fixed? I had to update to play a game.

I'm on 20.5.0, AMS 1.9.5 E.

it is as expected on firmware 20.x.x , firmware 20.x.x have slow down when you load all your games icons in the all softwares tab.

hi guys, i am currently using firmware 20.1.1 on emunand and 21.0.0 sysnand. Will updating sysnand to 22.0.0 effects emunand like boot issues or fuse mismatch etc. ? I want to keep playing online games on sysnand.

No, emunand wil still work (keep emunand on Firmware.21.2.0 or lower for now). You can update sysnand and use online, Emunand doesn't care about the fuse count as this gets patched by Atmosphere/hekate before the switch os (hos) is loaded.

Unless the game you want to play online absolutely requires you to use firmware 22, there is no reason to update. You can still play online, you just need to be aware to not click "update" by accident, the update dialog will popup everytime you redownload, start or resume a game, it will always hover the confirmation button by default, so don't blindly press A when doing one of those things.

is it possible to still properly dump games on the older firmware? I want to rip apart the tomodachi demo and see if i can mod it but i don't know if i should just wait until the full game and the new firmware is out, or for others to do it.

I'm hoping that someone else picks up 22.0.0 support at some point. otherwise i'm just sticking to my switch 2 from now on I guess. (for most unmoddable games)

There is an unofficial atmosphere out there but team reswitched said not to use it, as for 22.0.0 what problems you might run into are like sleep mode problem because of warm boot, but probably won't face it if you can boot into stock to generate new warm boot.

there has always been the option of you installing to sysnand (or the "system" portion of an emummc), and just mounting your emmc to your pc with HacDiskMount, taking out the .ncas for the game, and then decrypting them with the 22 keys.

and obviously, dumping your ticketbin, and prodinfo certificate and such to decrypt the private portion of the ticketbin to get the titlekey which you need to decrypt the ncas too.

if you install to your system rather than SD, you can skip the SD seed part.

you never had to use any homebrew to dump anything. That's just incompetence.

I see. I wonder if they'll fix this with an update? I knew there were warnings about updating, but it was necessary for games I wanted to play. That's the only issue I have noticed. What else got messed up?

the tl:dr is nintendo added some cooldown to an api that before used to be non-existant, if you're referring to hos ("sysnand no cfw"), no, no fixing, homebrew like tinfoil "fixed" this by not extracting icon data from installed games, as example.

Other issues for 20.x.x and 21.x.x there are less memory for homebrew, the problem is that 20.x.x have 14MB memory while 18.1.0 has 40MB and firmware 19.x.x has 24MB. In addition, there is a battery draining problem that can be fixed with some config lines. The battery draining problem has to do with the switch constantly attempting to accept the new EULA but on modded switch but you can't , so battery keep draining in sleep mode unless you disable background services.

The battery issue can be resolved by creating a new EmuMMC from a SysNAND with all connections established to Nintendo's servers.

That's what I did, and I no longer have any battery problems.

That is way too much work for people that installed a lot of games already, the configs line fix the problem. True also you can setup a new emunand from a sysnand that accepted the eula.
