They play just as good as authentic carts. Real RTC, real 1M flash saving.

You won't be disappointed.
Yes, they're amazing, I have one already for my emerald save file and works perfectly, no issues whatsoever

I really just wish I could choose the print in the back, but anyways, can't get everything I guess :ha:

Can be useful to connect GBA Pokemon games to Gamecube games?
I bought a EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition but i think is stuck and i didn´t receive any update in DHL tracking site.

Can anyone vouch for one of these? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009541374261.html
I just want to make sure RTC works and the battery is removable without soldering.
all 6 of the chisflash 1.1 rtc I got from Aliexpress all had the 1616 replaceable holder.
Thanks @Hunter. I finally got mine. The battery is removable and it works great.
Pokemon Firered and Emerald did not need any patching to work.
The only caveat I noticed is a very slow write speed when using Burn2Slot with a NDS Lite.

Same here. I got a V1.2 first and it's working so well I grabbed a 1.1 for the RTC. No issues so far.

One can always put a sticker or something in between the case and the PCB, I guess... as thin as possible, to avoid extra wear on the pins and the slot.

Which seller did you get them from? I was thinking of buying from EPICJOY, but I think I prefer getting carts with battery holders, as long as the save retention is reliable.

I know this has been asked before in the thread, but I honestly couldn't tell if the answer was a yes or no so-

Can these carts migrate up to the 4th generation Pokemon games? I'd be interested in using one for emerald specifically, 4th gen compatibility is all I really want and I don't wanna go spending nearly 100 dollars on an EZFlash-OmegaDE lol.

It doesn't have mode-b. No.

I should finally be able to get my refund from aliexpress for the lost ChisFlash today, in the meantime when we were ordering something else yesterday I ordered another one from the official chisfamily store (still on aliexpress) - sale price was in single digits GBP, slightly cheaper than last time even.

Edit: wrong thread and wrong product name, I ordered a new SuperChis.

Yes they can, they work just like an original cartridge when using it Pal Park, you just need to manually flash the cartridges with either a NDS or a GBFlash

ChisFlash carts don't need modes, they are rewritable, single-rom carts that use a flash memory IC. Other than save compatibility, it should work, as they behave like an original cart.

You might be confused with the SuperChis. Those use a microSD card like the SuperCard and EZ-Flash.

Thanks for the confirmation, I'll probably pick one of these up in the near future. You mention flashing the cartridges with an NDS, you can use an R4 card to flash them? would be helpful since I don't own a GBFlash/GBOperator or whatever they're called.

you can program them via the NDS using any flashcard and https://github.com/vrodin/Burn2Slot
