Xbox Mode is coming to Windows 11 next month

Those who have been keeping up to date with Microsoft's handheld partnership may already be familiar this. Stripping away the desktop interactions of Windows and presenting a more console-like experience for PC gaming, the gaming-focused mode has been made available via the "Xbox Full-screen Experience" since November. Going beyond the cleaner UI, users have reported performance gains in games thanks to background apps and some tasks being disabled. Now formally known as Xbox Mode, Windows 11 users on any device can expect to access it in April.

For the folks out there who are locked to Windows for their gaming setups, this has the potential to be a real positive change for the operating system with little to no downsides. How the final product will look and act is yet to be seen though.

Tbh, I wouldn't use those custom versions if I'd try, I'd use the untouched ISOs.
Fine by me.

But I don't like useless crap being installed and forced to keep it unless removing it through "third party" open source software.

Actually, I'm using Tiny 11 on a "non-compatible" desktop computer.

Haven't had any major issues, just a bit of lag here and there (Windows Explorer at first opening), but that might be because I'm using a -very- old Hard Drive of only 149 GB of capacity, as this was just a test after having used Windows 10 Pro for so many time. Just had the means and the time, so I did it.

First thing I hated of Windows 11, was the "un-movable" taskbar (I always use it vertical on the right side, until I solved it with an opensource software I got from GitHub.

This might be the best Windows 11 version I've used so far.
Yeah I get Explorer Lag on Vanilla 11 with my modernish laptop because I dare to use SMB... A Microsoft owned protocol that I only chose because of that laptop and works 100% better in every Linux Distro and some Androids.

What I need from this, is quick resume. Just that, be able to out the pc into standby mode like a console.

I grabbed my Steam key through cdkeysforgames.com since their price was the lowest I could find, and the key arrived right away without any fuss. If you're trying to save a few bucks while still going through a trusted seller, it’s been a solid option for me so far.
