Usb loader gx freezes when HDD is plugged on USB

I have a black Nintendo Wii from 2010. It has the Homebrew Channel, Priiloader, and BootMii IOS, but I’m having an issue with my new 250GB hard drive. Every time I connect it to port 0 for USB Loader GX, it freezes on the “Initializing USB” screen and doesn’t load the USB Loader GX GUI. It doesn’t seem to be a cIOS issue, because USB Loader GX recognizes my 8GB USB drive. I’ve already tried formatting it to FAT32 or WBFS, and I tried setting USB Loader GX to load on IOS 249, but nothing worked. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

Hello,

Post a syscheck report here to see if anything is missing.

Try using a FAT32 hard drive and try a Y-cable.

Is your GX version up to date?

Check if your external hard drive is formatted as MBR and not GPT.
