INSTALLATION: Put SLUS-00551 folder inside "textures" of emulator, create one if not there

MAIN DUCK FOLDER/textures/SLUS-00551/replacements

Put optional lang folder inside "replacements" (USE JUST ONE or textures may conflict) delete the rest

RENAME SLUS-00551 to SLES-00970 or SLES-00971 matching your version

Texture count (global): 2243 99.4% completed
Format: webp (mostly) some pngs
Size: 1.23 GB (webp is the choice for fast upload/download)
Resolution: mostly 9x, 8x the rest, near 4k, (sorry i cant manage masks correctly at 9x)

REQUIREMENTS: VRAM 3GB - RAM 32GB to preloading everything, or NEW! JUST DISABLE "preload texture replacements" it appears work well on SSD with no issues or stutter

(((FOR MOBILE OR LOW RAM DEVICES)))
1- Just disable "preload texture replacements" SSD or M2
2- use png reduced 50%
4- move all the textures from sub folders direct to "replacements" (user reported better performance)

-Added french, german and russian langs: initial menu, fonts and inventory
(not files, maps or other things)
-fixed the dirty arrows on char selection
-organized optional language folders for easy selection/deletion (less loading time)

ATTENTION!: a user requested the french support and by the way i add two more. the language selection now is organized so you can select what you want, the necessary common files are in another folder.
i am not did the files text to those new langs bcoz is much work.

REQUIREMENTS: VRAM 3GB - RAM 32GB to preloading everything, it loads permanently 31 GB and you need to wait at least 2 minutes at start, this avoid stuttering.

(((FOR MOBILE OR LOW RAM DEVICES)))
1- PC, convert all to DDS, more file size. fast loading (on vram)
2-Mobile, convert all to png, more file size, a bit slower but not stuttering or massive RAM needs
3- For more performance batch convert to downscale 50% resolution, bicubic is the best method for reduction.

1.1 FIXES:
-BG/masks: a lot of corrections, not perfect but better than previous
-Re-created main hall and dining room
-Items leftovers (i cant find a wrong item texture, removed duplicated red book)
-Characters improvements
-Fixed blood texture, removed the rest of effects due unsatisfactory results
-Shadow texture edited, now IN THEORY is fine, if fails, its a emulator issue
-Chopper shadow fixed
-keypad font restored
-english font fixed
-some interface corrections
-add hd text of advanced mode(double ammo)
-files leftovers
-all maps added
-rope and ending screen transparency fixed (i think)

ATTENTION!: this is the final release, my job ended with this game. but for a first approach to a real graphic overhaul was fine. more info on readme.txt

Thank you for your efforts, but I have a problem with some of the resolution. on the main screen It's changed , but when I enter the palace, nothing changes except the wall columns, which appear to be in HD.

not enough ram? are you using the png version?
 
Good morning Juancho... how did you manage to improve and rescale the textures in this type of game with rendered environments? I try to rescale textures in these types of games with rendered environments and it causes graphical glitches and texture cutouts... By the way, it looks great, you've done a fantastic job
