UNDERTALE for the Nintendo Wii!!!

I'm happy to announce that I'm coding Undertale for the Wii!

I started this project about three weeks ago, and so far I've only managed to do the intro and basic movement, and that's all... for now
The game is extremely early in development, but I wanted to share the progress and that it exists at all!

Yes! I plan on doing Classic controller support, but I'm having trouble to add the Wii input, since WiiLÖVE has no documentation yet

Been following progress for the 3DS version for a while by now, and seeing this game getting ported to the Wii made me happy.

For how incomplete looks so far, it's turning out well. Keep the good work!

Have some respect.

Keep in mind these developers are doing this for free in their spare time out of passion for the game, not as a commercial product. Whether it gets finished or not, we should show some appreciation for the fact that they’re even attempting this!

I'd rather celebrate someone trying to do something cool than dismiss it before they've even had a chance to show what they can do

We should be encouraging the effort and the attempt rather than predicting utter failure, that’s just undermining all of the work that goes into this kind of thing

Ay man, don't say that! The process of making it may be slow because I'm kinda busy, but even if I don't finish, other people will do that since the project is open-source and Lua is an easy to learn language.

You never know, but from a glance at the git, it does look incredibly... fragile in its current state? I'm just being real here. It's just enough to imitate the intro and then display a PNG of the first map as far as I can tell. I can't see code like this scaling to a full port of the game.

Moving the attention away from haters, this looks great! Like SDA said, I've been following the 3ds version for a while, and seeing Undertale come to my childhood console is awesome! Can't wait to see it's progress!

Absolutely agreed! And don't bother about wurstpistole, he just wants to badmouth the project and the dev (yes, he does this in addition to hating on me all the time).

Just add him to your ignore list, simple.
