Please quote me when you answer: If I have a Switch with Emunand already set up and partition for Android working, can I reallocate and add Linux without issues?

I've followed a guide to get the Linux options appearing in the boot selection but it throws errors on the bootup process. There were some extra steps about copying the values of the joycons or something, but I assumed it's fucking up because I didn't initially install my brew setup with linux.
 
Probably screwed but figured I'd ask

Appears that I didn't disable cloud saves before creating emunand

Now when I create a fake link & attempt to launch games I am greeted with Error 2123-0011 Failed to Check Cloud Saves

Is there any way I can fix this without recreating emunand?

Additionally all my my games etc are on my SD card if I absolutely had to recreate emunand could I preserve everything on my SD?

I have a V1 switch vulnerable to the RCM jig hack. I am preparing to sell it and am going to update OFW. I need to connect to the internet first to allow for my Nintendo account to be unlinked. This requires updating to the latest software. Is this safe to do (ie. will it still allow for CFW to be installed)?

Disble them unlink and relink accounts using latest linkalho

Hello! Noob question incoming!

I had troubles booting normally to the the STOCK official firmware until today.
So I was using EmuMMC to play games on cartridges for the last 2 years.

I was curious if there's a way to transfer my saves from the EmuMMC to the StockOFW.

yes you can use checkpoint on the emmunand then boot int cfwsysnand and inject with checkpoint but be careful some games like smash bros that you play online might check for any modifications and if detected could trigger a ban i have safely used with marvel ultimate alliance 3 pokemon scarlet tetris 99 dragonball kakarot so a good rule of thumb is if there is no competitive online play you should be good but if there is make sure the saves are not modded in any way or you risk a ban

Hello, i did a benchmark on my sd and i got 89.4 mb/s in the 1/3 sector, to my understanding this is normal, but 2/3 and 3/3 show 7.97 mb/s and 8.44 mb/s.
These last two values seem low to me, but I dont know, are these good or bad? should i change my sd? its bad if i keep using it meanwhile i get a new one?
 
So I tried downgrading my switch from 21.0.0 to 20.5.0 everything went fine. But when I had to “reset switch without losing data ” when it completed it asked to delete the Nintendo sd card files because “it was used by another switch” . Atp I had backed up everything from the sd + prodkeys. I clicked delete and while the switch was deleting the files hekate booted. I tried to boot to ofw and I get greeted with black screen. That’s where I got stuck. Hekate doesn’t seem to detect the card and doesnt boot into it.

make sure you are useing latest hekate and you can also try using the reboot option and select ofw to get to your stock as for the emmunand im not sure other than like i said make sure you have latest hekate syspatch and atmosphere
is there any message on the black screen or ist just stuck on black

Only thing I can do is go to rcm mode and boot to the hekate gui but because the sd card isn’t recognized I get greeted with the non graphic design and says “make sure the sd card is inserted/seated” then nyx not found. Looks like lockpick’s ui.

sounds like your sd card went bad does it read in a pc

maybe make sure all the files are in the correct place may the rcm cant find the payload file but im not sure as i dont use rcm all my switches are oled and thus have modchips thats all i can think of considering you cant get to hekate and in the pic it shows version 6.0.2 the latest is 6.4.2 but perhaps you know this already another thing you need to make sure of is the format of your sdcard well the switch can read exfat its actualy more stable in fat32
 
Looking to jump from 18.1.0 with AMS 1.7.1E to whatever the latest working firmware version supported by Atmosphere. I only do this every year or two and methods always changing! The last couple times I have used Daybreak and the HATs pack from some that main site, and getting firmware from Dearth Vader's site. Can anyone here advise on best approach nowadays?

Unles you have a game needing a newer firmware you can stay there.


the most recent stable configuration was FW 19.0.1 with Atmosphère 1.9.5

You will need to upgrade all your homebrew and sys modules.
