Does anyone know what duckbill modified/tagged in people’s switches? Do you think it was done within the emuMMC or somewhere else on the SD card?

Hello Team,

Just FYI, I installed the English v810 version of DBI and I have tested that the following features work perfectly (everything under FW 20.4.0, Atmosphère 1.9.4, SD card formatted as FAT32 with everything updated, tested and working perfectly):
1.Clean orphaned files: even faster than before.
2.Check title updates.
3.MTP Responder with the Nand and SD install from computer.
4.Browse of titles and saves.
5.GUI navigation.

Thank you very much to Rashevskyv for developing such a complete and useful tool and to Morce3232 for the will and effort to traduce the latest version 🙏🏻

Hope you all have a great day!

Best regards

Willsito

Should be safe. Thank you for giving us this, since the DBI dev is an asshole.
I would not upset him though.
After all, DBI is still closed source and he threatened us to include a brick code if we try to translate it.
So even if this translation is working now, we're out of luck if (for any reason) a later firmware requires a new DBI version.
That's why I hate closed source software, seriously.

The last english version lasted for how long? At least a year? Without going political, I have a strong feeling russia will have bigger issues than independent dbi translations by then. :D

"duckbill: Congratulations, you fell for the English version of DBI. Now your console has a tag that can only be removed by rolling back from a backup. Get ready for a wide variety of glitches."

Doesnt sound safe to use DBI anymore...

Than certainly don't. No one is forcing you.

However notice, dear reader, how he keeps throwing around vague threats, without anything real happening. :D

Well the question is, did he circumcise you on the spot, or have he just tagged you, so you might unintentionally circumcise yourself any time in the future while taking piss? :D

Hi,
I tested this translated version, but I can´t connect to my FTP server anymore.
On the old english version 658 it´s working fine with the following syntax:
ftp://user:password@host:port

On 810 i get bad URI syntax, because it wants to read ftp://host:port, but where do i put my credentials?

hi, translation error on the ftp code part simply

?

I don't generally use ftp server with dbi, but gave it a try. It didn't want to resolve file list with filezilla server, however xlight ftp server seems to be working fine.

Login works just fine with
Code:
ftp://user:pass@host

However it seems picky - as I said, filezilla server did not work.

Apparently DBI started crashing at boot for some of us:

Anyone else here?

Doesn't seem to be DBI code itself the issue in this case. Maybe corruption or old build, since he has 3 different DBIs on SD card.
Also, TitleID error matches sdb-sysmodule.
