What do you think of Hollow Knight? Been on my ‘to buy’ list forever.
Excellent platformer/metroidvania! Its got great atmosphere and gameplay. Takes cues from Dark Souls for storytelling, with environmental/enemy hints and quips from NPCs telling the story rather than explicitly spelling it out or hour-long cutscenes..

Well, _with_ a gaming trailer, I succeeded in countering little mac's moves here with one arm at double playback speed. But wow was my former instructor at double speed playback fast! He was two steps above little mac here at the same playback speed.

In other news, try transferring nearly seven terabytes of games to a new laptop. But they all work!

I’ve seen a lot of people crying over how hard it is, is it really that difficult or are people just whining to whine?

Managed to personally avoid Silksong

Joking aside, it's not my genre, but not taken away from me either, if so many people find it enjoyable :grog:.

Been playing Dragons Dogma II at home myself and slowly reaching the midpoint of the story I guess. Exploring just takes quite a bit of time. My lunch hour game has been Nier Automata lately, haven't an inkling at which point of story I am.

Reason between difference of home/lunch hour is that at home I stream to my media center from beefy PC and lunch hour gaming is done on Deck.

I beat a very challenging flash game called "give up, robot"

Finally got an Alolan Marowak to hatch in Emerald Seaglass after a lot of biking back and forth to hatch eggs, then soft resetting when it was another fucking geodude or diglett something I didn't want.

u shared a great game. When its music started, it reminded me of old days. Loved those times.

Liked this one too. Does it have 50 levels? I just passed 9th level, and I can grapple the lava blocks:yay: that saw blade making me vrooommmmm, haha. nice.

First time clearing the original Metroid (I'm playing the US NES version, but with the patch to fix the RNG so certain enemies work properly). Full exploration, took my sweet time, got second-worst ending

Also second time clearing, with the new game+ type mode of starting with a bunch of upgrades when you play again after the credits, and got the second-best ending

Which also means I can now play in the zero suit

Will try for the best ending soon.

Enjoyed the game. The worst thing is grinding to refill all your energy tanks when restarting from save password or dying, but that becomes less of an issue when you've figured the game out and are playing through in one sitting. The repeated rooms are a smidge tedious as well, tho I get that it's because of storage limitations. Overall, for a first attempt with 1986 tech, it's a great game.

Finished Quantum Break on PC. I don't think the PC port is particularly good. I love Control from Remedy but this feels a very 6/10 game. Mouse and keyboard controls felt juttery so used a controller which was better but not ideal. The live action element felt like a MS decision considering the era of Xbox the game was developed in.

I completed wolfenstine the new order on the Uber difficulty as my first playthrough, I had 70% of my deaths on the last level. The final boss compared to earlier sections of the level was super easy.
