Hello everyone,

I’m having issues with my own Wii console getting stuck in Priiloader 0.3 every time it boots.
Here are the problems I’m facing:

- Wiimote sync does not work in Priiloader (tried multiple Wiimotes with fresh batteries)
- Not sure if the reset button is broken, but sometimes it doesn’t seem to respond
- No GameCube controller available
- Priiloader is installed on NAND and loads on every boot
- Version: Priiloader 0.3 (I believe it’s the R43 release)

Because of this, I cannot boot to the System Menu or Homebrew Channel.

**My question:**
Is there *any* way to bypass Priiloader without a Wiimote or GameCube controller?
For example, via an auto-boot boot.dol from the SD card (System Menu / HBC) or other hardware/software methods?
Is there any known exploit or loader for this version?

Any help, links, or files would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Hello, please type in English if possible.
From what I can understand with Google translate, just to clarify: the only problem is that you can't navigate priiloader, your Wii is not bricked right?

Maybe you'll be able to use the bluebomb exploit (follow https://wii.hacks.guide/bluebomb) to get into the hackmii installer and from there get to the homebrew channel and update priiloader, you can get the latest version here: https://oscwii.org/library/app/priiloader (make sure to extract the latest priiloader files into the apps folder so you can load it on the homebrew channel)

If that doesn't work and if you can't manage to sync any Wii remotes, I can only suggest getting a GameCube controller as it seems you tried everything else and as far as I know, in order to autoboot you actually have to be able to navigate in the priiloader settings to do that in the first place.

I know it's a bummer but to my knowledge I don't think there's much else you can do other than trying a GameCube controller, maybe someone else in this forum with more knowledge than me will hopefully be able to find another solution for you:(

I'm not sure what version of pre/priiloader it was added to, so it may or may not be an option in 0.3, but you can autoboot a dol before password check by placing wii_secure.dol on sd/usb. Using this method, if u can boot into the latest version of usb loader gx you can sync your wiimotes from within the app allowing you to use the console like normal. I suggest you update priiloader the first chance u get (as well as your other mods, see modmii) so that if u ever encounter an issue like this again u will be able to navigate the priiloader menu using the face buttons on the console or a usb keyboard. This is why before modern versions of priiloader I discouraged changing preloader's return to setting as it can lock you out from being able to sync wiimotes should the need arise.

Also, you could check and see if the console has bootmii boot2, just save a sd:/bootmii folder with the appropriate files within it and see if it loads before priiloader during start up. You can grab the bootmii folder from Modmii's download page 2 (or here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/modmii/modmii.github.io/master/temp/bootmii_sd_files.zip ). If it does, there are some other measures that could be taken but they're more extreme.

Of course the easiest solution is sourcing a gamecube controller, but you already said that wasn't an option unfortunately

Hello, thank you for your reply. I tried the method you mentioned, but unfortunately it did not start from USB Loader GX, and I cannot use BootMii because BootMii is installed as IOS, not as boot2.
Thank you.

Hello Abaw, thank you for your response. However, I’m not sure if Bluebomb will work because I cannot sync with the Wiimote. HackMii is already installed, and I want to bypass Priiloader by pressing the “A” button using Bluebomb. Is there any software that can behave like a Wiimote?

Thank you.
