Breeze Search Process and File Management​

Breeze creates files that store address-value pairs, which represent the search criteria. These files help track changes in game memory across different states. To simplify the process:

  • The first file is automatically named File 1 if it doesn’t already exist.
  • Subsequent files are named sequentially, such as File 1(00), File 1(01), File 1(02), etc., to maintain an organized structure.

Game States and Operations​

  • A, B, C: These represent different game states during the search process.
  • Dump: Captures a full memory dump of the game at a specific state.
  • Diff: Compares the addresses stored in a file with the current game memory from the previous search. It stores the addresses that have changed, along with their corresponding values.

Key Behavior of Diff:​

  • When performed on a dump result, the Diff operation stores data from the dump (not the current memory).
  • To capture the current memory state, a second dump must be performed sequentially.

Breeze Search Steps​

The Breeze search process involves the following steps:

  1. Dump to File 1: Capture a full memory dump of Game State A (data for every address in game memory).
  2. Play the game and make changes: Transition from Game State A to Game State B.
  3. Diff from File 1 to File 1(00): Identify addresses with values that changed between Game State A and Game State B. Store the values from Game State A in File 1(00).
  4. Diff from File 1(00) to File 1(01): Identify the same addresses but store the values from Game State B in File 1(01).
  5. Play the game and make further changes: Transition from Game State B to Game State C.
  6. Diff from File 1(01) to File 1(02): Identify addresses with values that changed between Game State B and Game State C. Store the values from Game State C in File 1(02).
In summary, the Breeze search process follows this sequence:
Dump → Play → Diff → Diff → Play → Diff


Comparison with EdiZon​

  • EdiZon uses a single file, and each operation overwrites the previous result. Its process is:
    Dump → Play → Diff → Play → Diff
  • Breeze requires one additional search step when starting with a dump:
    Dump → Play → Diff → Diff → Play → Diff
This extra step in Breeze ensures that changes are tracked more comprehensively, with separate files for each state and diff operation.


Why This Matters​

Breeze’s approach provides a more detailed and organized way to track memory changes across game states. By creating separate files for each step and storing values from both the dump and current memory, Breeze offers greater flexibility and accuracy in analyzing game memory.

I'm going to try to use the one you mentioned.
Because even now in breeze I can't change the "set max trigger" in gen2. I can't believe it asks me for a u64 input value why that value? is more easy in dec, that I set and it doesn't make any changes.

A very important question for me.
Isn't there a button or something in breeze that you press and everything goes back to default? Because with so many things if you move something it stays that way and you don't even know what's happening.

When using ohk, if you come across a boss immediately press and hold L3 until you kill the boss.
Unfortunately in some sequences of games this cheat will bug the game, make saves every time you can.

When you unlock a new magic skill, you must immediately deactivate ohk otherwise the skills will bug and you will not be able to use them.

Thank you so Much For your help...If I may ask can you help me how to update the code using code updater for the Inf HP...I Try to Update the code..but can not found the address for the Inf HP using code updater...You can PM me if is not so much troubling for you.....btw Thank you @2K417
 
@TomSwitch , in game guns of fury I take less than 3 minutes to find the cheat for secondary gun in unknown with edizon, nothing with breeze.

Tomorrow I download breeze 99 if I can't find it, I'm retired of cheats

Do you mean beta 99 looks different from the previous version? Try turning off easy mode—the default key is ZR + L (works per menu). Set Extra button = 0, then go to Settings and set Custom shortcuts = 0, and you'll be almost back to the previous setup.

You may also want to remove radial_modeKey. I like using radial mode to quickly access any button on the grid, but it disables some key combos. I've already edited some defaults to avoid conflicts with ZL and ZL + Left Stick combos.

To get everything to default is to delete breezeoption.dat but that will be giving you the new default which is what you get immediately after installing beta 99.

To get it completely back to the older version you have to use the older version, or use this new one and set the shortcut to match the old one.

It looks like this when you start. There is by default a more button, you can get rid of the by setting Extra button = 0.
Use the ZL+R key or the more button to see set max_trigger, after you use it it will appear in easy mode

Inf. HP is tied to the master code maybe @Az91 can help you with that

are you sure edizon took less than 3 minutes? it should need more than 3 mins to dump the full 3GB ram

anyways, the concept is the same on any cheat app for any game system

for breeze
1. set search type u32
2. memory dump
3. less cycle if value decreased, more cycle if increased, same cycle if unchanged

if edizon is faster for you then why not use both?, find address with edizon, add to cheat, use cheat to bookmark with breeze

The code updater only works on ASM codes. More than likely the infinite HP code is a pointer code. "58xxxxyy yyyyyyyy" or "54xxxxyy yyyyyyyy" any number of times followed by "7xxxxxxx zzzzzzzz" and "6xxxxxxx yyyyyyyy" once is defined as a pointer code. "040xxxyy yyyyyyyy zzzzzzzz" or "080xxxyy yyyyyyyy zzzzzzzz zzzzzzzz" where "yy yyyyyyyy" is equal to or less than the size of the main NSO (the 'main' file you load into the code updater) is considered an ASM code.

it asks for u64 because your current search setting in search manager is u64, if you want u32 then change it to u32 (decimal or hex), set your max trigger when you use watch

Why you need unknown search? Search for something simple and you will immediately found that the game is double so super easy to find anything. The trouble is the game is hard to make cheat due to the way the engine works. For games that use double if you don't know what value to search just do a range search much more efficient that way.

Anyway there is 5 which is HP, there is 50 which is displayed so that is super fast find. The green bar is 100.

I have a theory about why you're encountering problems with unknown searches. The issue might be due to how quickly addresses change in certain parts of the game.

A full unknown search is slow to converge—not just because my app takes a long time to perform the search, but also because you need the memory values to change multiple times. As you already know, if the address changes, all your progress is lost.

In EdiZon, you probably performed the search in an early part of the game. I found that the address is even static to heap start at that point. Unfortunately, it didn’t stay that way for long. Just do this experiment find any of the value by doing direct search. 5, 50, 100 as you please. In just a few search you will find it. Now that you know where it is you can check if it remain at the same address. Perform your unknown search if you will and see if you manage to have convergence before the address change.
