And FWIW, the Ardbeg Uigeadail puts them all to shame anyway.
IMHO, the 12 year isn't worth the premium. Not because it isn't good, but because the non-vintage is just THAT good! And Ardbeg... taught me that I should avoid any whiskey that has any word related to "smokey" in the description. Can't stand the stuff. I suppose my whiskey tastes haven't matured yet, because I also have a 21 year Hibiki, but it gives me heartburn, and I like Blender's Choice a whole lot better.

But back on topic, I picked up a Macbook Pro with an M4 Pro chip and 48GB ram a few days ago... out of sheer morbid curiosity (well, ok, also the fact that I'm tired of messing around with macOS in a vm, which is even more of a pain in my rear on my AMD desktop than on my Intel laptop... and I need to use xcode to build Provenance-emu on my phone and iPad). And I must say... all of the WTF things rolling around in my head about them, are JUSTIFIED. I can't believe there are people who will only use a Mac. The thing needs a dock just to use ETHERNET! The trackpad doesn't have any form of right-click by default... you have to dig into settings to turn on that functionality. People here with one, have issues with having to use the archive bit fix on their Switch. So far, I see no appeal whatsoever. Any fanboys feel free to PM me and let me know what's so good about these things. Do any emulators have better performance on Mac silicon than on a 7950x3d? Jebus... the price I paid and it only has a 512GB storage (biggest storage they had in-store with 48GB ram), 230GB remaining, and all I've done was install xcode, built Provenance-emu for my phone and iPad, and just started to setup my environment to build Switch and 3DS stuff (so far installed dkp-pacman, switch-dev, and figured out how to make an alias for zsh, since SciresM refuses to change his Atmosphere build scripts to use python3 instead of python).

Liking Islay whiskys has nothing to do with tastes maturing ... you simply like the taste of burned seaweed, used band-aids, and dirt, or you don't. For good or bad, I love the stuff. Bowmore, Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Lagavulin ... these are a few of my favorite things.

Ordered a pack of "random" "Lego" minifigs off a site, I underestimated just how random it was going to be.

Look at that shifty motherfucker, look at him.

EDIT: It was 77 cents for a pack of 5 minifigs so it came to 15 cents per minifig, and it was part of a bigger order, they were like "would you like to add 5 random minifigs for ¢77" and I was like "would I ever!"
I'm amused, not disappointed.

I honestly forgot Persona 5 had a tactics game, but for £10 I was all in. The MySims bundle at £25 feels super good too. Emio I just wanted to get physically while it's still available; feels like the kind of game that's just gonna disappear one day without any fanfare. Happy enough with the games though, just gotta dump them at some point.

A year ago I pitch on a Kickstarter of a game about the WWII where you play from «the other side of the hill» I already had some games from that designer and they are great, not only fun but historic accurate and amusement.

Today the final game come as surprise, it's a huge box today will be a long day reading the booklets, it have several campaigns even you can play on the Valkiria team and try to make reality this time.

Really nice! Looks very detailed and made with a lot of care and attention! In German language would be easier for me (not English, that would be weird).

I'm still deciding on whether I'll keep it, but I got a base Mac Mini M4 (16GB/256GB) for about £500.

Don't absolutely need it but I want a low power yet reasonably powerful system that I can keep on all the time and do various things on whilst having access to Mac OS for the odd time I need it.

Yes! the creator Carlos Francisco Márquez speaks fluid Spanish, English and dutch, and the game is available on that three languages. Is not available yet but will be soon,

GUNMETAL-&-MASS-EFFECT-3.jpg

Got these both off of eBay. I got Mass Effect about 10 days ago, and shortly after that found Gunmetal for $6.99 plus like $4 shipping. Both are in immaculate condition. Still gotta get through Mass Effect 2, but for the time being I'll be playing Gunmetal. Fun gaming casually. :)

They must've taken great care of their games, I see light scratches but the rest looks as if it was brand new. Great steal!

Yeah, the Gunmetal cover has that odd "line" going down it, starting from the top of the artwork (the XBox logo folks), to, I'd say about a 3rd of the artwork. However, consider two things...

#1) This game is roughly 25 years old. Someone took care of this game, just like I take care of my games and my consoles.

#2) Check out these images of the instructions. They're (almost) IMMACULATE...

Man, I completely forgot Emio was a thing. The teaser feels like yesterday. I need to make a note to actually try the game because I still don't know what type of gameplay it has. Definitely a good call grabbing a physical copy.

Ordered an Evangelion Eva Unit-01 model kit, two bottles of pink hobby lacquer paint, a bottle of metal/pearl brown hobby lacquer paint, a natural-hair dry brush, and an SDBB Guncannon model kit.

Also bought 7 games on the steam winter sale The Forest, Batman Arkham Origins, Borderlands GOTY Enhanced, LOCKDOWN Protocol, Buckshot Roulette, Killing Floor and Liar's Bar.

From what I've played (which isn't really too much to be honest), it seems to be a visual novel with some interactive elements like finding points of interest, figuring out clues and connecting the dots. While some bad stuff happened right at the beginning of the game, the overall atmosphere at the beginning of the game wasn't... uneasy, I guess? To me it feels like a solid game.
