It's one thing to do this with emummc. I would not make actual changes to sysmmc.you can still clear serial and certs from nand directly with tinfoil

Personal preference, but you wouldnt be prodinfo blanking on sysmmc anywayIt's one thing to do this with emummc. I would not make actual changes to sysmmc.
sysnandbut u used it on sysnand or emunand? because im new i have a oled with modchip only want to play and edit the savegame nothing more
because i have no reason to run emulatorsYeah you don't run emulators or pirated games but you have a modded Switch.
Show me one case of that happening to someone for just installing pirated gamesand pirating games is how you get sued by nintendo and thrown in jail for theft
I've used blanked PRODINFO for years and never bothered with DNS MITM and I'm not banned yet, make of that what you will.Everything you do on the console is getting logged and those logs are being sent to the Nintendo servers as soon as you connect to the Internet, assuming you aren't blocking Nintendo servers by using 90DNS or DNS MITM. At best you'll get flagged for ban so you can still use online features until they decide it's time to issue a ban. As far as I know, some people don't get banned for months until the fateful moment happens.
Assume that pretty much everything gets logged, failed installs included.
Staying offline is just delaying the inevitable.
Cleaning logs got people banned in the past.
Restoring a clean NAND backup is a viable option, but there are few things you need to make sure before you do it:
People usually fail on the 2nd step, therefore restoring NAND backup is suggested only in cases where fixing NAND isn't possible by any other means. Use it as a last resort, provided you have one.
- You must create your sysNAND backup before you do any hacking activity.
- Before restoring your NAND backup, you must be 100% sure that you didn't connect to the Nintendo servers afterwards because, if you restore an old backup that is missing newest logs that you sent from your console to the NIntendo servers, you'll cause a log mismatch which will eventually lead to ban.
If you're playing pirated games only, you aren't missing out on anything much, really.
It's questionable whether prodinfo blanking is useful at all as, by the time the Exosphere's blocking hits, the data may be cached elsewhere in the system. (Source)
Using 90DNS and/or DNS MITM should be enough.
I've used blanked PRODINFO for years and never bothered with DNS MITM and I'm not banned yet, make of that what you will.
It's quite possible that the info is being cached somewhere but as long as the servers to just reject the connection as soon as they see an invalid PRODINFO, that data never gets sent to Nintendo.
bro you didn't go through the colossal effort and gigantic risk taking of buying an old Switch and modding it for "cheats and mods" and to make sure mods are "wi-fi safe", whatever that meanssysnand
because i have no reason to run emulators
and pirating games is how you get sued by nintendo and thrown in jail for theft
i'm prefectly happy using cheats and mods in my games as i only play online with friends and i make sure my mods are wi-fi safe before installing anything
i bought my switch in 2018 brand new before toys r us shutdown againbro you didn't go through the colossal effort and gigantic risk taking of buying an old Switch and modding it for "cheats and mods" and to make sure mods are "wi-fi safe", whatever that means
also there's this cool thing called a VPN, ever hear of it?
So you bought it in 2018 and didn't update it for years? Uh okay, who the hell are you trying to fool here.i bought my switch in 2018 brand new before toys r us shutdown again
i did only mod my switch for cheats and mods, i have zero reason to pirate things or run emulators
vpns are useless and steal your info and sell it just like everything else does
