360 could detect the 'jitter' of discs to identify burned copies
Could it? I used to flash discs all the time and I don’t remember having to worry about that. Just had to make sure you had the newest patches or if XGD3 had a burner capable of “over burning”

Yeah there was a massive ban wave and all the old discs without stealth would instant ban you (depending on your disc drive)

Well deserved... for not reading the warnings.

The only "safe" use for MigSwitch I can see is for playing your very own game dumps and have them all on a single cart.

This ban-train is going to be veeeeery loooooong...! Chooooo! Chooooo!

Why do you think it's silly? Nintendo uses different ways to catch unauthorized activity, so monitoring game card speeds doesn't seem that crazy to me.
It would be like forcing Switch-gamers to buy only their Nintendo branded cards or risk being banned... A total nonsense.

Hold on, Sunny did it with the Vita before it was turned into an awesome device thanks to the scene devs. Now we can use any micro SD card instead of their stupidly overpriced cards.

I think you misunderstood the comment. The flash in a genuine GAME card is usually going to be much faster than any micro SD adapter pretending to be a game card. Yes, Nintendo are forcing people to buy genuine Nintendo branded GAME cards, that's how they pay for game development among other things.

It does. Not all cards are made the same. Even oxidation on the pins can cause it to re-read data and you get banned for that?
INTEL Processor are suffering of internal oxidation making them slow, so you can not argue a fast or slow electronic device means original or false.

@Xdqwerty, Depends on what port you're playing. You will find one of them good, whereas others are shit.

Never played Impossible Mission, feels similar to Another World if you could call it that?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, I played the ds version which had 3 game modes, one where everything sounds and looks like the original, one where the assets were remade, and one which is a mixture of the other 2

@Xdqwerty, Go for the C64 version.
