I put my rom in the folder with the decryptor, but once I run it the message immediately says it already finished. But when i check, my rom was never decrypted. I tried renaming the file to see if that was the problem but nothing worked.

When I run the decryptor it doesn't leave a decrypted version of the file afterwards.

OMFG Dude, I've been trying to use the file against Chibi-Robo! games and you were exactly right. That really screwed with my head so much. Yeah, deleting the exclamation points was the answer. What a stupid error!

There asre still plenty of files which cannot be decrypted. For some reason it's mainly files that have "World" in the title, such as "A-Train 3D (World).cia"

Is there any reason for this, and more importantly, how can I actually decrypt these files?

EDIT: other files give me the following error:

[...]

struct.error: unpack requires a string argument of length 4
Failed to execute script decrypt
[SETTING ERROR] Argument "-rsf" is required

can anyone help? I've watched a video on how to do this and it won't work because of some error. In the log file it says

ValueError: Buffer size too small (0 instead of at least 512 bytes)
Failed to execute script decrypt
[MAKEROM ERROR] Content 0 is corrupt

what does this mean and how do I fix it?

Amazing, thank you for clearly pointing this out! Removing the ! from the filename did the trick!

Can someone PLEASE help me, i decrypted one of my games, but then i am trying to decrypt another one and it wont work, it says that its already finished, but that "already finished" message is for the other game. How can i descrypt the second game?

I found the solution!

1) Delete your old decrypting folder
2) Download/unzip the files, so that you are starting with a fresh set
3) Add your CIA/3DS file to the folder and run the BAT as intended

Every time you need to decrypt files, you will need to repeat the process with fresh files again.

I hope this message reaches it's target audience!
