Hi y'all! I accidentally removed one resistor from the cpu, yet somehow the console still boots. It's the 2nd resistor that needs to be connected to the cpu flex cable. My question is, can I still mod this switch without putting in a new resistor (by soldering some thin wires from the resistor pads to the flex cable pads)?

There are only capacitors on top of the cpu afaik.
They are there for stability.
Just look at the thread mentioned above and especially the mod method where they place the mosfet on the back of the PCB.
It's a bit more work because you have to get the PCB out of the case.
You could try to clean up the mess on top of the cpu first.
If you manage to solder back a capacitor then you could start over once more.
