Hi,

I've RGH 3.0 my corona Xbox 360, everything was okay.
Everything looked normal, from the dashboard I formatted the hard drive to erase old profiles and stuff, now the console won't boot anymore...

I was able to get cpukey and flash the nand, so RGH worked but now nothing...

The console won't boot with or without HDD, even if i boot with eject to run Xell, nothing happends.
Black screen, fan ON, and red dot ON not flashing.

Any ideas, ?
Anything to check ?

If this can help, when RGH was working, the console could only boot at the second time : first boot ---> 3 seconds --> off, second boot --> ok

Pictures of the 3 points under the MOBO, i'm using a postfix.

You should clean up that flux. Makes it hard to get a clear picture, but also it can corrode the joints.
The Mhz selected in J-Runner (next to the RGH3 checkbox) can affect stability. I read online that people were saying 27 Mhz was more stable than 10 Mhz (despite the guides recommending to try 10 Mhz first) and selecting the wrong one can result in the console failing to boot. So I went with 27 Mhz and it has been relatively stable although I have not used it a lot. I have a phat though (which are generally less stable with RGH3 to begin with, so using the most stable settings can matter more than slims), it seems to fail to boot sometimes or take a very long time to boot but always works second try.
I have also heard that it can boot at first but over time stop booting if the wrong setting is used.
This might not help you, but you should try flashing with the other setting that you didn't try.

Guys pictures are taken from microscope.

I de-solder and re-solder the first point, now console is booting.
I will remount everything.

Any advice on securing soldering points ? Like kapton ?

You secure solder joints with solder. If you have a good solder joint, nothing else is needed.
Any attempts to "secure" the solder joints with tape, hot glue, etc. will be ineffective, it doesn't work like that, take it from the electrical engineers on YouTube who do this stuff for a living. Just tape the wires down in a few spots so they don't move around and stress the solder joints, that's the only thing that helps. Kapton tape over the solder points will not secure the solder points in any way but can prevent accidental shorts so it's usually a good idea as well.

Anyways, referring to my previous post, if you still have issues with not booting on the first try or not booting every time you could try my suggestion.

can't see no solder in the first pic just a black burnt hole, like SylverReZ suggested get yourself a microscope, it'll make it easier.
It's the way the light reflects on the solder blob, what you think is burnt is the actual solder
