How to install CPS-2 emulator on Adrenaline(PSP Emulator)

I installed the cps2 2.3.5 for slim,,it shows black screen before..later i try to bubble manager to put a bubble..now the cps2 has bubble..when i started it..it open..but with glitches..still cannot open it..

I tried also cps2 for Fat..it just wont start on me...it says psp error (this error is the one when you try to open a game in psp,but forgot your cfw at start)

You need to download and use this version

I have now tested everything thoroughly. Even adrenaline v7 seems to work fine. The catch is if you use CPS2PSP slim version and get black screen or error code, something gets corrupted in adrenaline which starts to act wierd.

So you need to start with a clean adrenaline v6.9 with all settings reset to default then install CPS2PSP standard version and later you can dirty flash adrenaline v7 on top of it

hi,, i fix the blackscreen on Adrenaline v7.. Loading CPS2 2.3.5 emulator as per your recommended
..
just go to VSH menu> registry hacks> diable the gta_native.prx
not sure how i enabled it..

now the CPS2 is working..however
after launching roms. i am getting C1-2858-3 error..

damn,,i just want to play fighting classic before bed...

Hi I've follow your instruction. I've placed rom in the rom folder. When I start the emulator, I can see the rom file (in red letter) but I can't boot it up. Am I missing something?

@Unl2ealz ,the problem is the rom in red on the rom list,this means that they are not compatible with the emulator and you will not be able to start the games.

Nope, cant get it to work. Even after downgrading to Adrenaline 6.9.

X-Men vs Street Fighter US 961923 hangs on black screen with "please wait...", the sound plays in the background though. Pressing start gives a "safe start" notifications on top left, pressing the home button stops the sound and seemingly crashes the app, after a while the app closes with C1-2758-2 error,
What am I doing wrong?

OK finally I found a solution. The problem is with adrenaline v7. This is what I did and everything now works perfectly

1. Made a new folder and named it mypspdata in Vitashell. Moved all my games iso from ux0/pspemu/ISO folder to mypspdata. Moved emulator folders and ps1 games from ux0/pspemu/PSP/GAME/ to mypspdata

2. Moved the 661.PBP firmware file from ux0:app/ PSPEMUCFW/ to mypspdata folder.

3. Deleted adrenaline by holding bubble and delete.

4. Downloaded adrenaline v6.9 from official GitHub link and ftp it to ux0

5. Installed adrenaline.vpk. Exit out of vitashell to confirm it was installed. Did not run adrenaline yet and entered vitashell again.

6. Opened vitashell and moved 661.PBP back to ux0:app/ PSPEMUCFW/

7. Moved everything from mypspdata folder back to their respective locations of step 1. Exit out of Vitashell

8. Run adrenaline and it asked to install 661.PBP which I accepted and happily booted into XMB.

9. Checked CPS2PSP and MVSPSP for different ROMs and all worked fine even I checked adhoc play within both it worked flawlessly between my Vita and PSP2000.

10. What I conclude is that there is some bug which effects these emulators in adrenaline v7. Downgrading to v6.9 solves the problem.

@Rich8606 ,i don't know what to say try the whole procedure again in OP.
I am attaching some screenshots just taken,check that you have put everything in the right directories.

I too have that problem with some roms, I still haven't figured out how to fix the problem, I downgraded to 6.9 but the problem remains.

Yeah, I copied my ISO, game, save data folders one by one. My other PSP and PS1 games are working normally after the downgrade and firmware rebuild, I've checked with Tekken 6 PSP and Alundra PS1, they're working and my safeties are safe.

Oh, so even with the downgrade, it doesn't guarantee every ROM will work? So what ROM actually works? I'll try whatever your tried instead on trying random ROMs one by one.

@Rich8606 ,i don't remember which ones don't work from the list(i haven't used it for a long time),remember that it's always an emulator inside another emulator (Adrenaline)and it's not perfect as all emulators have bugs.

Installed FBA Lite, it works really well. Great speed, nice UI. Downside is there's no DIP switch menu, so there's no way to change coin and difficulty. Does CPS2PSP has DIP switch option?
