Can't wait for this game to come out! I tried the (J) version for a bit, but couldn't get very far. I imagine I'll be sinking some hours into this one.

I think this is the first game that is really going to depress me that I have no one local to play multi-player with. Man I would love to co-op on this one. :'(
I've always been a sucker for Action RPG and this one had some nice presentation, i finished the Japanese version it's a good game overall. Way short like i think it took me about 8hrs to finish it, but regardless of how short the game is it's still great fun to play.
I'm looking forward to Ys I & II Eternal Story (which is similar to this game), both parts should be out at the end of this month. I can't imagine it being better than the PCE version but one can only hope so.

Don't get your hopes up for this one. The GC one was garbage. Why can't SE just make a real FF game for DS? Nobody wants a neutered hack and slash with FF's name tacked onto it.

Also don't judge a game by its cover. Just because the GC version might of been garbage, the DS version might not be.
Hmm 5 party playing on the DS in a hack and slash... Having 3 other people in the family who have DS's has been fun playing Deufeufeu's engrishized version of Soma Bringer so far.

Well, I kinda disagree with you saying FF:CC was garbage. But then I didn't own the game. The many times I played it were at sleepovers with friends. I can understand playing it in single-player is crap, but multiplayer was always a good laugh.
