what if on homebrewstore i go to settings and delete the link and put in a link to a pkg no rar that is on mega?
Does it make me download the pkg and install it?
make me download mortal_kombat_x.pkg?

Not likely. Afaik, lightning mods will not allow piracy with his apps.
