I've been running nintendont flawlessly on its own, and recently decided to add usbloader gx to my Wii. I got all the cIOS and everything, and even fixed usb loader crashing when I load a game and not being able to find nintendont. Now, when I tap any game (Wii or gcn) I get the black screen. I was able to get DK country returns to play once after like a minute of black screen, but I don't know what I did to make it work. Nintendont still works great, but nothing else works. Help?

How many times it gonna take? Lol, can't see the info at the top, so I don't know if your hbc is up to date or using IOS58. I can see that you don't have bootmii ios installed though.

Drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do

It's FAT32, and yes I've tried Wiiflow too but that had the same issue. Just updated nintendont and redownloaded usbloader gx. Still nothing

Try reformatting the SD card. FAT32 at the default allocation table size. Also: your not trying to run the Wii games off the SD card are you??

No, every game and only games are on a usb. All my apps and such are on the sd. I'll reformat again, but I just did a couple days ago

...And you have the GC game files under the games folder, and the Wii games under the wbfs folder??

Should look like

Root
|
|---games / game folders / game.iso
|
|---wbfs / game folders / game.wbfs

Also make sure you have Wii game files named properly with the numbers and naming. I've found that if the Wii games aren't named with the proper information in the files title name you will get really jankey results.

My USB flash drive currently doesn't play nicely with GX, but works with both WiiFlow and CFG USB Loader. I think in the future GX may see some improvements in this regard, but in the meantime I suggest you try a different loader to at least see if that's the issue

Yeah my usb is all formatted correctly with the game ID codes and everything. I've tried Wiiflow but that had the same issue.

It reminds me of when once upon a time (quite some time ago) I decided to play Fragile Dreams. I got a Wii for the occasion, modded it, copied the game onto a USB flash drive (pretty decent one for the time, by the way) and ran the game (and that was late in the evening).
Of course it was a black screen. The only thing that made me wait for the game to finally load was the flashing LED of the usb flash drive (if it's flashing, something must be going on.). It took me about 10 minutes or so to load the game into the title screen. After selecting a new game option there, the Wii started showing me a long black screen again... Anyway, it ended with me going out for a beer instead of playing, and the next day I went to buy a USB adapter for the HDD.
I haven't had a problem with the Wii since.
The moral of this fable is: it's nice to have a place near your house that sells good beer.

Sometimes compatibility is improved, especially for small flash drives, when formatted as wbfs instead of fat32. It mean u would need an SD card for apps, roms and gc games and covers and cheats etc though

You could even try partitioning it as half fat32 and half wbfs. Modmii can help w this if u need direction. But I wouldn't do this unless u confirm 100% wbfs is working with your thumb drive anyway
