Hardware A weird Switch demo unit

Hi, I bought an old nintendo switch from a pawn shop and I'm sure it's a demo unit. Every time I power it on, it says that "the swtich could not start the software." I went into recovery mode and it says it's on version 4.1.0. Searched online for more information and I found this forum thread.

Is there tutorial I can follow to fix this nintendo switch? I've never jailbroken a console before but I want to try for the first time.
I've ordered an RCM loader and it should be arriving soon.

Updated for 1.5.0 pre1.
Moved shit back to exosphere for simplicity.
Remove sd:/atmosphere/kips/ams_mitm.kip1 and put exosphere.bin at sd:/atmosphere/exosphere.bin, use stock Atmosphere v1.5.0 otherwise.
If using hekate to boot add 'secmon=atmosphere/exosphere.bin' to your config.

This binary is only compatible with Atmosphere v1.5.0, don't use it on any other versions otherwise you may crash/hang/whatever on boot.

Anybody know how to get tinfoil working? I keep getting the "Unable to start software" error when launching tinfoil. This is on a HWFLY chipped OLED.

Im having same problem and hbmenu only works in applet but havent had time to sit and look at

Colleagues, does anyone know of this the solution to this problem when starting the Nintendo Switch, it goes past the 2 logos and this message appears, the console does not start
