And would you happen to have the code for Three-Segment Dudunsparce as well? Thanks!I made a modified encounter code that tweaks encounters so all pokemon of a certain type have the form you choose. For example, you can have it so every Rockruff that spawns is an Own Tempo Rockruff, or every Sinistea is an Antique one, without changing any other pokemon that is spawning.

You should never have this enabled at the same time as the regular encounter mod; I've intentionally used the same code cave, so it has the same off code and uses the same pokemon encounter codes. It ignores the codes for level and held item, though, keeping those the pokemon would already have.
Some example codes that should allow you to get perfectly legal rare-ish pokemon by hunting their most common variety (though in the case of Sinistea only if caught at the South Province Area Six, as that is the only place Antique Sinistea can spawn). I didn't test them all, but they should work:

You're right. Your x16 feels like a true x16 increase, I can vouch for it. The x4 will take a while to notice, even 4/4096 feels kinda slow, but I will have it on while I play today.Wait a minute, that isn't the code I posted. It's missing the second line.

I believe I was using the old one, I'll give the new code a go and report back. Are you using the one from the post you answered or the previously posted one that was missing one line? Because the one that was missing one line might make the game lag, among other potential side-effects.
I tested it with a 256x code and it still didn't lag my game. Granted, I'm playing in handheld mode, which lags far less.
(Not going to post the 256x code because it's only useful to test for lag. At that point you are better served with the always shiny code.)
Thank you for this. Is it possible to have something higher than 16x, maybe 24x?Wait a minute, that isn't the code I posted. It's missing the second line.

is there a way to change just the size of the shiny pokemon? to make shiny hunting easier without using the all shiny code?
I unlocked it without hosting 5-star raids. I beat approximately 10 raids offline AFTER completing the ace tournament to unlock 6-star raids.Few people giving incorrect information, you don't just unlock 6 stars just from talking to the professor,to get 6 star raids you need to:
1. beat the game
2. re challenge all the gym leaders
3. Do the ace tournament
most importantly
4. HOST some 5 star raids, after you host a few then the professor will call you and 6 stars will unlock.
you just beat a 5 star raid after the ace tournament providing youve beat a few before that point it will go off in just 1 (offline or online) and that will suffice for that part. So depends on if youve done any through the game thats why that "seems" subjective to people i suspect.I unlocked it without hosting 5-star raids. I beat approximately 10 raids offline AFTER completing the ace tournament to unlock 6-star raids.
Can anyone explain how to modify the code like this? I don't understand what w21 or w23 is in reference too but I wanna be able to modify the updated shiny multiplier code. This has not been fully tested — testing random things is a pain in the ass — but these codes should make shiny pokemon more common without making everything shiny. 16x should make shiny pokemon without any buffs twice as common as they would be with full buffs in the vanilla game (and make about one in 33 shiny when you have all the buffs), and is low enough it should never cause lag by itself.

For those that want to make different versions, and know the basics of making ASM codes, you need to change two lines:
04000000 00D0A6A8 531C6D15 lsl w21, w8, #4 04000000 00D0AF08 531C6D17 lsl w23, w8, #4
Change that to put into w21/w23 the number of rolls you want; w8 has the original number of rolls. Keep in mind that making it too high will cause lag.
