Hacking Emulation RetroArch/Libretro Thread: PS Vita Edition! Nightlies Included

Yes. I'll stick to playing with no filters and bilinear disabled for now... I wish there was psnes built with older Snes9x version. Pemus' filters work amazing, but psnes is too heavy for vita.

Hacking Emulation RetroArch/Libretro Thread: PS Vita Edition! Nightlies Included

Has anyone been using normal2x filter that was added since 1.7.6? I'm not quite successful with it as some cores seem to hate it. VBA-next refuses to load any content at all with filter enabled and all versions of Snes9x randomly freezes (the whole RA app) during gameplay. Has anyone been able...

Hacking Multiman will play ANY PS2 ISO, right?

    Assuming you're with a non-BC PS3, it's not 100% compatible. There's a compatibility list here: http://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/PS2_Classics_Emulator_Compatibility_List There might be better/more comprehensive list somewhere... I just don't know much myself.

Hacking Hardmodding a Super Slim 4.81?

Sorry, but I didn't fully comprehend. 1. The thread was written BEFORE 4.81 was out, and visiting Cobra's official website, it still says it supports "super slim up to 4.80". Has the latest 4.81 patched Cobra or not? 2. I can see that Cobra allows you to play blu-ray games and "some homebrews"...

Hacking Hardmodding a Super Slim 4.81?

Okay, so I know very well that no softmodding methods are for my PS3. But there ARE HARDmodding solutions for *certain(?)* PS3s above 3.55, right? But after all the time I spent on searching google for hardmodding infos, I still don't have the stright answer for "Is it possible to hardmod a 4.81...

How did you feel about 5th gen's frame rate?

Thanks for many replies. So it's basically the same as I didn't notice any aliasing nor pixellation on NDS's LCD screen as young.

How did you feel about 5th gen's frame rate?

I thought most Nintendo-made NDS games ran at 60fps, at least action-oriented ones... Though, of course, many 3rd parties just used 30fps, or even lower, like KH Days running 30fps on single player and lower than that in multiplayer. But you know, when you "grow up" with Nintendo devices, it...

How did you feel about 5th gen's frame rate?

I guess the you grew up really determines everything. I grew up with NDS and Wii, and probably that's why I don't mind low resolution and polygons but 60fps...

How did you feel about 5th gen's frame rate?

I use emulators to play retro games, and when I do, the hardest games for me to get used to the graphics are mostly from 5th gen. Like most people say, 5th gen games have aged horribly compared to others, often not only because of blocky polygon graphics but also low frame rates. Back in those...
