Hacking Upgrading IOS's on old softmodded wii?

I softmodded my wii about a year ago and used the guides. I've been running USBLoader since. I don't play much anymore, but I have experienced minimal problems. I've noticed there are a LOT of mentions of new IOS versions and numbers. Should I upgrade and is there a guide for upgrading? My...

    Hacking Rom checker or manager

Back a few years, I used "Rominator" for checking my roms and remaining. It looks like support for Rominator ended a couple of years ago. What tool is being used these days in its place?

Hacking Confurable USB Loader: Error Code -2

I know I've read about this common error before, but can't seem to find the way to resolve it. Last night, I ran into it for the first time when attempting to load "Family Feud: 2010 Edition". Failed to load with a code of -2. How is this resolved\fixed?

Homebrew Which Emulators are fairly stable and load roms from USB?

I've read the sticky and noticed that it hasn't been updated in a long time. I'm currently using Snes9xGX, FCEUGX, GenPlus-GX, SMSPlus-GX, and VBA-GX. Is there any other recommended\stable USB loading emulators?

Hacking Partitioning a 1TB external. Games, Roms, and apps?

Thanks for the post. However, I'm having trouble understanding what is said here: What images are they talking about?!? By images do they mean your general stuff like homebrew and roms? Are they saying to make the first partition FAT32 and the second partition a WBFS (active)?

Hacking Partitioning a 1TB external. Games, Roms, and apps?

Does it matter which partition comes first in the order? Can the FAT32 drive be NTFS? Guessing not..

Hacking Partitioning a 1TB external. Games, Roms, and apps?

I'm new to the WII game. I've went ahead and soft modded my WII and ordered a USB Loader compatible 1TB external drive. I've got USB Loader GX installed to my SD card. My understanding is that the external drive can not only hold my WII games, but also hold emulator roms and my homebrew apps...

Hacking Slot 2 for GBA Only?

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll go with the M3 SD Perfect....cost isn't a factor in my decision. The product description doesn't make mention of what kind of SD card is required and the size limitation....is it safe to assume it's a microSD and must be 2GB or smaller?

Hacking Slot 2 for GBA Only?

I'd like (if it exists) a slot 2 device to play GBA games only? I don't need RAM\Rumble support. It would be nice if there were a slot 2 device that had a SD card of it's own.....that I could drag and drop a bunch of my GBA games to without burdening my R4DS's SD card. Does something like...

Hacking How to use 3-in-1 Rumble?

I'm testing it with Diddy Kong Racing DS. When I turn on the NDS with the Rumble from the Perfect pack, it rumbles. When I turn on the NDS with the 3-in-1, there is no rumble. Same goes for in Diddy Kong Racing. The perfect rumbles...the 3-in-1 doesn't.

Hacking How to use 3-in-1 Rumble?

How do you enable the rumble function of the 3-in-1 with a M3DS Real? The rumble pack that came with the M3DS works without having to do anything, but the 3-in-1 doesn't. Thanks

Hacking UPDATED: M3DS Real with 6GB Micro SDHC Card

FYI, I ran into the same problem as kafworld with a 4GB A-Data card. I used the same instructions from Cory and it fixed the problem for me. Thanks

Hacking M3DS Real, EZ 3-in-1, and Save Files

I'm having difficulty getting GBA games to run properly. To start, I'm using a Real with FW v2.6. I've got a EZFlash V 3-in-1 in SLOT2. The root has 3in1 Expansion Pack Tool v1.9 with the proper DLDI patched. I've got a GBA directory with about 5 games in it. I launch each one into the...

Hacking Installation of Firmware M3DS Real

Grrr, I found the user manual on the M3 website. Sorry for this post....should have looked a little more before posting.
