    I've had many, many different brands of burner over the past 5 years (LG, LiteOn, Pioneer) and without a doubt the standout is Pioneer 112D. Can't recommend them enough - best for burning and price, dunno how they do it!

    Well, except that they didn't really, did they? I think this was just an unforeseen consequence of the "multi-region" aspect of the chip; you're not supposed to be able to put another region's update on your own region's console, so this is just a horrible side effect, as far as I can see...

    VojislavK, would you not have checked this before downloading it?? None of the mod chips claim full region free! There's a whole list of the working NTSC-PAL games available...

    I would, had I the relevant ISOs! I've got an NTSC version of Wario Ware and Trauma Centre, unscrambled ISOs. Looking to try them as PAL; what should I change? I think I've figured it out, but a second opinion would be good!

    Yeah, but how do you factor in the gamecube games not working that way? For example, I have Paper Mario NTSC, but I own a PAL Wii. Despite having the Wiikey set to "Regionfree", I still have to use the Freeloader to get it to run. I see where you're coming from, but if it's not been done yet...

    From what I understand of it, nothing. Short of Datel releasing a Wii Freeloader, we're fairly screwed as I found last night. Just installed the Wiikey, and both Trauma Center and Wario Ware refuse to boot, all because they're NTSC!

    It depends on the title, it seems? I've got a Freeloader, so I've also got a bunch of NTSC games (I've got a PAL wii...) Long story short, it works for Resident Evil 2, but not for Resident Evil Zero! Anyone else found this? PnaG.

    I can verify (with a PAL Wii bought in Ireland) that with the latest firmware and latest Freeloader as of 2 Feb 07, Freeloader DOES work. I play NTSC Mario Sunshine all the time!
