  • Lao Tse said that if you have no ego you cannot be wronged. Is someone who is bullied an egoist?
    Nikokaro
    Nikokaro
It depends on whether the sufferer is spiritually (without ego) ready (usually not). Then it depends on what kind of bullying it is: 1 vs. 1 or group vs. 1. The former can be a teaching, an exercise in patience and forbearance. But if one is not ready, he must react strongly, not whine. Face-to-face, if necessary fight and put his life on the line, without thought ("mushin" in Japanese) intervening.

I realize that your question is a provocation. Egoism has different degrees. Of course if the victim is egoist, what is the persecutor? Isn't he much worse? He is usually a coward, if confronted head-on, without hesitation, eyes to eyes (he doesn't expect it) he is stunned, unprepared and backs down. But still one must prepare for the worst, to defend oneself, to fight for his dignity (or worse for life).

This passage is redolent of Theognis' Elegies (425–428). Silenus' wisdom appears in the writings of Arthur Schopenhauer, who endorsed this famous dictum. Via Schopenhauer, Nietzsche discusses the "wisdom of Silenus" in The Birth of Tragedy. Both Socrates and Aesop were sometimes described as having a physical appearance like that of Silenus, with broad flat faces and fat bellies.

So it is actually a phrase from Aristotle, later passed on to Schopenhauer and Nietzsche but symbolically attributed to the fictional character of Silenus.

"Nah, doing so just copies the link, but the video is not shown: at least it's so from android mobile."
Now that is some real advantage for Android.

Still preferring a proper computer. I would take me half an hour to prepare a tiny post without a keyboard.

If the author of the post deleted it to spite Creamu then that is fine. Lol. 🤣 I was afraid it was an abuse of power by staff member, and I hate bullying. 😖

Would any developer/ programmer/ hacker take a look at the save code of eDuke3d.3dsx (Mr.Huu ver.)?
By saving and loading you gets thrown out in the 3ds menu.
With the hope that someone will help me. Thank you.

"forgiving those who have hurt us is almost divine"
Forgive people that hurt us? Unconditionally? WHY?

Let me think about this: Ehhm. No?

Accepting the past like it is: Yes. No good/sane alternatives.
    Not seeking revenge: Also yes.

Yes, I should have looked into that XML file. This target selection isn't needed with Luma.

It is frustrating when things simply don't work for unknown reason and the lack of documentation makes it hard to impossible to find out on your own.
Just like me poking around aimlessly with my stupid CDs trying to get some information about the underlying things.

Still: Have fun with the 3DS. It is an awesome device!

Could someone help me? I installed boot9strap, luma3d, safeb9sinstaller, otherapp.bin via soundhax in the o3ds. The installation succeeded and the home menu is the same as before. But where do I find and how do I start the homebrews (already copied in the 3ds folder)? Wasn't a Launcher already included among those softwares? Thanks.

Regarding SNES9x: It works good for the most games. Those with powerful co-processors in their cartridges (Super-FX and SA-1) perform very poorly on old type consoles. For example Yoshi's Island, some Kirby game (forgot the name), Star Fox, Doom aren't very much fun on O3DS.

Why is this so important?Look at the vulcan/saturanian actors for example that tested the nukes, even though they estimated a 10%chance of destroying all life on planet earth. After japan sought capitulation in 1947,they nuked them anyway. The targets were civil and it was a display of power&to see what would happen to a population under those condition not to mention the countless firebombings of civil targets

This is total madness, and needs to be overcome for good. This is the challenge and it needs to happen on a spiritual level. A technological world cannot last without apollonian order. We deal with establishing the apollonian part primary and the lunar part secondary at first.

In short. Lunar cycles under the old roman conecption became too dangerous as technology progressed. Therefore it is up to us to reinvent the roman system to a true Sol Invictus conception.

Naah. With the limited time I have, I prefer to play only what I'm really fond of: I love those pixelated, angular, coarse graphics in both 2d and old FPS games. I don't want to disperse my interests too much: "chi troppo vuole, nulla stringe" (those who want too much, get nothing).😉

    How about this thought:
Since (with the exception of nuclear fission energy) virtually all energy available on earth is directly or indirectly coming from the sun, so are the chemical processes inside our brains. One could argue, that thinking about the sun, is the indirectly the sun thinking about itself.

In a certain way, seeing the sun as a kind of deity, wasn’t a stupid idea in early cultures.

"Not very alone…" Nothing and no one is truly alone in the universe. Everything is interdependent. Each person is linked to others by material, emotional and cultural ties. Alone nothing and no one would survive. Feeling alone is an illusion of the mind. Esoteric truth (for the few): giving oneself totally to others is, paradoxically, being totally alone. [will anyone understand?]

The sun is alone in its sunshine glory. It is indeed devine. Apollo awakens and brings new life. Creatures of the night watch out!
Ladies and gentlemen, behold what I managed to find for 35€ + 5€ shipping. An o3ds in excellent condition, practically never used. 😋 Is Boot9strap and luma3ds enough to use homebrew ports and emulators, or do I have to install the other apps? Don't make me take unnecessary risks....😣
