i agree with EVERYTHING you just said.
i have no problems with games where the text says "blah blah is going to attack soon. make your way to the blah blah tunnel and defeat blah blah blah! go!" but most arent like that.
& i hate that too. i think the legend of zeldas would have been wayyyyyy...
idk if im the only person, but i personally can not STAND when games have pages and pages of dialogue/story that you can't skip. most times it just discourages me from playing the game all together because my thumbs are so worn out from pressing the A button. if i wanted a storybook i'd go to...
what are your favorite 2d adventure, rpg, platformers, etc. the choppy 3d graphics on most ds games dont entice me at all, i'd rather have colorful, detailed pixelized graphics like the kirby games lol. so go on, RECOMMEND!
the ones like most final fantasy's, dragon quest, and just the majority of rpgs on ds in general. the ones that have the battle style where you encounter a monster, then you have to choose "attack/magic/shield" etc. i hate those types so much! i've tried to like them but i just can't. i'd much...
from experience, do you guys prefer kirby squeak squad/superstar ultra or new super mario brothers as a platformer of choice, & why? i know for some people its mario no competition, but i actually like kirby more.
am i the only one who thinks the ds needs some of these? i'm thinking like a cross between castlevania & final fantasy. kind of like maplestory? or odin sphere for ps2.
& does anyone know of any games that are sort of this genre?
is it just me or is my ds lite's battery life really lower than expected while im playing with my flash cart? i get like 5 or 6 hours max before the red light comes on, and thats with a full charge.
every time i download a rom i immediately rename it from "#2354 - Mario Kart DS(U).nds" or whatever it says, to just "mariokart ds.nds". much simpler that way. i don't think it would really be necessary to add that to the app when you can easily do it manually :/
