    Ps5 uart code 808300F1

I'm working on a PS5 slim edm 040 that boots to safe mode / attempts to repair the console storage but hangs at 5 percent and switches off. This is the uart error Unknown - Possible related to Secure Loader Error (Southbridge, APU, SSD) - PlayStation 5 shuts off no warning, message etc...

Hardware PS5 shuts down in 1 to 1,5 hour.

Try replacing the PSU, if you've cleaned it and don't get the overheating message and it shuts off abruptly the PSU probably isn't supplying enough current. If you have access to a Dc load you can check the PSU.

    Hardware Ic identification

Does anyone know what this IC is, the markings on it are BQ5AP, I'm not getting 5v output from this IC for the disc drive. It has 5v going into it and F5401 is fine.

    Hardware Error CE-108255-1 fortnite

Yes this does have the original firmware, as it's only happening when the game is checking for updates, it leads me to believe the console has been banned or put on a blacklist with the fortnite servers. No UART errors at all.

    Hardware Error CE-108255-1 fortnite

I have a PS5 with a weird problem. When launching Fortnite, it gets to the stage where it's checking for updates then throws the CE-108255-1 error. I've tried everything, factory reset, updated software, rebuilt database...even copied all data from a working console via network onto this (took...

EDM 010 1 beep no lights

I'm working on an EDM 010 that beeps and shuts off. The URAT output is "80871055 Low SSD Banks IO Error Between SSD Controller" There are no shorts on the board and the voltages from the SSD PMIC are present. However what I did notice is that pin 1 on both these Mosfets has a low...

    EMD-020 resistor value

can anyone help with the value of this resistor? I believed there was a short under the southbridge, but after some probing this resistor is connected to the cmos battery, hence it was showing as a short! Resistor went flying never to be found again in the process!

Hardware PS5 stuck in a safe mode boot loop

The controller is being recognised and when the PS button is pressed, it then goes to the "please wait" screen and stays here for several seconds before it reboots back to the "Connect the controller using the USB cable and then press the PS button." I don't get any opions at all like there...

Hardware PS5 stuck in a safe mode boot loop

I have a PS5 EDM-020 that's boots straight into safe mode and only gives the option to connect controller via usb. When the PS button is pressed it proceeds to "please wait" then reboots again to the "Connect the controller using the USB cable and then press the PS button." No other options are...

    Hardware EDM-020 no 3.3v or 1.8v

Yes, I've removed the 4 caps under the WiFi chip, short present. Is it best to tackle the removal of the WiFi chip with heat from top or bottom of PCB?

    Hardware EDM-020 no 3.3v or 1.8v

I've figured it out I think, the 3.3v inductor from the DA9066 supplies the enable pin to both these TPS62822DLCT. The inductor on the TPS62822DLCT that supplies the 1.8v (F7002 side) is shorted, short is not on the TPS62822DLCT side but after the inductor, also shorted caps under the WiFi...
