I have a PS5 with a weird problem.

When launching Fortnite, it gets to the stage where it's checking for updates then throws the CE-108255-1 error.

I've tried everything, factory reset, updated software, rebuilt database...even copied all data from a working console via network onto this (took 5 hours) but the error is still there.

It only happens in Fortnite, I've even changed the SSD controller as I saw a video it usually cures the issue, but I think thats only of the error occurs when playing all PS5 games.

This is only happening with Fortnite.

Has anyone had this issue and managed to fix it?

I have the same error code on my jailbroken ps5 ofw 6.02 but with only dark souls 3 goty , i've tried installing on internal and external storage with no avail. Downloaded file from another trusty source with same result, also another console with same fw and the same. Yours i think has latest ofw

Yes this does have the original firmware, as it's only happening when the game is checking for updates, it leads me to believe the console has been banned or put on a blacklist with the fortnite servers.

No UART errors at all.
