i guess cause it's the opposite of being an impulse buyer and spending money quickly, but it sucks getting anxiety for buying the $1 game pass deal. i mean in the end i make a decision, but i don't like the process of making a decision cause i overthink of possible problems and such.

It isn’t really a good thing if you get so worked up over $1 purchases though-

    Not impulse buying is good
Being able to save is good

But saving too much is bad
Too many people save too much
Too many people grow old and have their life savings... then don’t know what to do with it or continue to save it
And too many people die with the majority of their life savings still in their account
if discord made a twitter thing where statuses were basically like tweets i feel it'd make a pretty good competitor and would be cool to see
haha my favourite meme formats are just the ones where the op just puts their opinion and that's it there's no joke and it's so funny hahah-
there should be a program where you always screenshare, and people on their feed can tune into random picked streams.

That sounds like a bad idea. Too much private or personally identifiable information.

yeah that's true. maybe you just screenshare one program then? and the focus is on picking random streams to watch?
use a fake word generator, then make a song, like the word is a music genre. don't care if it sounds good, only care if it's like the word.
is there a word for enjoying something more cause you were deprived of it? like sleeping after a long day or drinking while thirsty?

I don't think in English you can do that in a short form.
In Hungarian we could probably use the word equivalent of "to pleasture yourself with <something>", but it would have to be in context first for it to not sound naughty. Optionally you could try "to occupy myself with some <someting>", but it doesn't emphasize your prior lack of <something>.

yeah, the closest word I can think of is "edging" but, you know lol

I'm perhaps too old to understand what "edging" would mean.
a perfect example of the butterfly/domino effect would be: what would 2021 be like if the internet was never invented?

Was the internet not likely to have happened? Computers seemed an inevitability, and I was reading a science is wonderful book from the 30s/40s and it was going on about being interconnected by the wonder of radio and phone.

True, but that's why it's just a hypothetical.

So what 80s tech just stuck? Granted ARPANET was 1969/1970 so might be earlier still. Guess then mass communication never takes off so he who controls radio and TV and print still controls society which is both atomised physically and maybe not culturally. Far less research done.
people who say using a product/service agree with the creator's thoughts are the people who think they're smarter than everyone

sorry I tried to fit it in the character limit. some people believe that because the staff behind some product believe "blah", that users who use the service also believe "blah". I get that users are supporting the staff financially by using the service, but when a service is popular and unrelated to whatever the staff thinks I don't think it should be connected to the users. hope that explained it better. :)
