    Gaming Is it normal for a DS to sometimes not read the card inserted?

    I'm currently using a DS Phat I bought off ebay and an acekard 2i, every now and then when I insert the card it says no game card inserted. It doesn't happen too often, like once every 10-15-20 times. Pulling the card out and putting it back in again solves the problem. Thanks!

    I examined all 4 on mine and can't really notice any difference between them lol, that's what buggs me... Maybe it's just the way the console was built, all 4 look pretty fine to me... I do play my DSi on flat surfaces for longer periods, that's why I even noticed it in the first place...

    Yup, I also have a DSi and it stays still/all the little legs are obviously the same... The Phat is used from Ebay so I'm just checking to see if it's normal...

    Like mine when I put it on a flat surface you can wobble it a little bit, it's like one of the those 4 tiny ''legs'' is just a tad too short... It's either the right top leg or the left bottom leg (when you look at the bottom side up), the ones on the other diagonal are the same...

    Would it be possible to take it to a Nintendo service (there's one about 30 min away from my place) and ask them to screw it tighter or something? Althoug now it's 3-2 of you saying normal-not so normal XD... I'll probably just leave it alone, but if it can be tightened, it's no problem to take...
