There is no digital code. Theres a unique key embedded in the discs. When the disc is inserted into a new console the license is transferred over to the latest console and removed from the previous. So yes you can trade and resell. -

Don't be quick to dismiss the MiSTer FPGA too, it runs N64 nearly flawlessly, despite taking shortcuts here and there. It also uses original controllers, Bluetooth, or USB with 1000Hz polling.

No, a port is the exact opposite of emulation. Emulation is making it so that code compiled for different hardware can run on your machine. A port like this allows you to compile the source code so that it will run natively on your machine...

Wouldn't this just end the secondary market? No more selling or lending games to friends and opens illegitimate account selling/trading on a larger scale as well as piracy.

There's no way to sell your games or get them second hand. This is why I am glad GKC exists. Full digital is worse.
