I'd say all round best is Mario Kart. Let down a lot by its cheating single player mode.

I think Speed Racer comes in second.

Race and Create is a bit bland, and I hate the physics of the cars. Steering feels too sensitive and you can pretty much knock all cars out of the way. Lets hope GRID improves on this.

I too am getting a little tired of seeing this particular topic pop up at least once a week. BUT, as long as I am typing this let me say that imho, Speed Racer is clearly the second best racing game on the DS right now (behind Mario Kart of course). The speed of the gameplay and creativity of it's design make it much more entertaining than any NFS titles, or anything else on the DS.
