Pocket Physics v0.6
Speed up and bug fixes
[2001]domino.png

New version of Tobius Weyand's crayon physics clone for the DS. The main focus in this release seems to be speed optimizations and bug fixes. Download and changelog below.

* Massive speed optimizations!
* Fixed the "explosion" bug
* As a side effect of this fix, results are now 100% reproducible
* Moved to Box2D 2.0 (Box2D now has official DS support!)
* Deleting sketches in the loading dialog
* Objects that fall out of the world are no longer simulated
* .PP files now have a single root elemnt => XML compliance
* An author tag is added to the .PP files
* Pins now snap to the center of gravity of shapes
* There iss a separate version that doesn not save screenshots for people with saving problems with the SuperCard Lite

Is there a maximum of objects you can create? Because I'm working on a massive chain reaction and suddenly can't add anything anymore :S

Yes I believe so. Same thing happened here, but it also did that in earlier versions.

I tested that a week ago, turns out you can have up to 50 objects at once.

this version runs much, much smoother than 0.5 and the bug fixes make it almost perfect.

As I've said before, I really want the developer(s) of this program to know how much I appreciate their work! LOVE THIS APP!
His contact info is at the bottom of the page

my work in old version has item fly off the top of the screen, then went back(by gravity)

in this new version, the item seem to freeze when it got out, and not come back.

Wow the speed optimizations in this version are amazing, previously I'd made a ragdoll with 10 junctions fall onto a ball, this used to slow to a crawl but now it plays with virtually no fps loss

Oh, yeah - fixed the regular freeze on my M3DS Real! Now I can't put the damned thing down!
Wow. I LOVE this program.

Nothing as fun as making a little rag man fall down stairs and get stuck in a hole only to have a giant ball smoosh him through it so he slides down a hill into a catapult...just as the next ball gets there.

THANK YOU!!
