Gaming Are You Still Playing Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

Hi there everybody! =D

ah after nearly 4 months of my poll post asking everybody what their starter would be.. and joining into the super hype of POKEMON DIAMOND PEARL zOMG!!! ive been rather curious about who are still playing it and who decided it was time to move on..

SOOO what are your stories? reasons? was this pokemon game too lame/addicting? why are you still playing it? or not? have you been training those pokemons day and night or just slapped them in pokesav and duplicated rare candies? XD Pokemon diamond/pearl was rumored to be a milestone in the pokemon gaming company after its release of red and blue back in the day...

Do we all still live up to the motto "gotta catch'em all?"

i beat the game legit. even leveled alot of guys pretty high, and then i discovered pokesav. i battle'd people online, but i nerfed the pokemon to legal standards. 510 max EV, but i did give them max IV, and the best natures.

it was still pretty balanced, but theres nothing to do after you beat the game except battle people online. and most of the time you are up against some total noob, and its not even fun sweeping their team with just 1 pokemon.

is it just me or did gold/silver seem to be the longest pokemon game, simply because you travelled to 2 different areas?

Stopped playing it after 200 hours.

ATM playing Treasure Gaust: Gaust Diver Crimson Red and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Don't understand shit of either of them, but I'm good at figuring stuff out in games.

yeah gold/silver was awesome because of that. i wish they did the same or at least let you go to every land that was introduced in the games. that would be awesome.

hahaha yeah i tried playing Zelda too... but the language barrier just annoyed me to a point where i had to keep going back to the forums for help.. so it wasnt really worth it for me. i like to figure out thigns myself =P

ah yeahs this new system really sucks to me. this pokeradar thing? o.o half the time you get a pokemon you already have but not native to sinnoh

the aspect of trading over from ruby/sapphire/emerald/fire-red/leaf-green/ seems kinda a stretch for me... if nintendo wants us to catch all 493 they could at least help us out after 150 and give us some access to new locations... [kinda like R/B/E and their islands thing... although putting moltres there kinda puzzled me]

oh well i gave up on legit pokemon a while ago.. now all i do is usually hack once in a while and send over a bidoof holding a masterball to a friend

I quit half way through it, I felt like I've already played through it several times before when I've not.

I hope the next proper game would be more of a fresh experience but I reckon it wont or another remake.

took me 4 months to finish it =/
got fed up with the battle system near the end of the game, it was(still is) so FRIKKEN slow lol, somehow finished it though sigh

I would like to continue to play, but my DS has a 4hr battery life and that is going down.
I'm waiting till Sept when I can afford a DS lite.

Stopped at the 6th gym. I previously got up to Victory Road (or its equivalent in D/P), but my card corrupted and my last save was the 6th gym. I stopped after that.

Still playing. I finished the game and now I'm just trying to catch all the others using the radar and all that jazz. I only play like ten-thirty minutes a day but I think it's done well and it's lasting.

Still playing, 52 hours into the game, got 1 star TC (stupid DS-X messed up my Pokesav .savs!) but I stopped playing because of that.

Now I got my R4, I'm back to playing my Pokemans.
