Hacking 1.08 Cheats (updates)

I wonder how often they will update the cheats. Do you think it will only happen at firmware releases or will it be seperate.

Hopefully seperate. Or at least provide a *working* cheat editor.

You can update the cheat database yourself, refer to the firmware release topic
And there is a cheat editor out, also check out the release topic.
All works perfectly, tested myself

The editor doesn't work for me, I added two Mario Kart DS cheats but it refers to the default code list instead of the one I made...

works for me, i dont know about adding to the cheats already in there like you said but i added codes to customrobo and it worked fine.

You do put usrcheat in the _system_ folder, right?

why dont you just patch your rom with a ips file so you can play them all online?

I have two sets of codes: One makes offline courses available, the other restores normal courses. Doesn't the ips just replace?

EDIT: Not to be picky, I just like having every course. =P

yeah the ips replaces the first 12 courses with the ones not normally available in wifi

if you use a empty CHEAT.dat file it will work i just tried it, and the codes showed up

EDIT: Tried it online and it works

Anyway, I've been messing around with it and so far I need the Custom robo codes, I can't find them sadly and YGO 2007 may work (haven't tried yet lol)

codes that have M codes do not work with the usercheat.dat file whatsoever, so don't waste your time on this type of codes.
