Yeah, peeps should take note. Small wires, not too much solder. Pretty much as close to perfect as you can get.

thanks for compliments.

I prefer cable, you never know you might to want to remove this and upgrade to a better chip that'll be released in the future. remember that this is only a drive mod and has no implications to the wii bios whatsoever, future chips may allow for wii homebrew to run.

It is alright to put in the middle? I thought behind it is where the DVD spin. Is that a good ideal? How's ur wii running so far(how many days)?
 
I dont see any real problem with it, there is no moving parts under the electrical tape, so far I've installed two like this and they have been running fine for about a week now, I have also seen several similar mods around the net
