Hacking New R4DS Batch?

I ordered a R4DS last week from: http://echostore.com/r4ds.html

It came today, here's what it looks like:

Some differences that can be seen are:
+ R4DS is in a black case, instead of white
+ Silver microSD card reader, instead of a clear plastic one

That's all.

Hmm, I ordered about a week ago too, but from dealextreme. I was kinda hoping for a white case. How's the transfer speed on that new reader ? Does the microSD slot mechanism work well? Any fit issues ?

I ordered some and I got em two days ago from winsunx. They've got black cases, but the card readers are clear. I wanted a white case.

Bought my one from a store in Hong Kong, Micro SD reader is WAAAAY different to the one you have and everything was in chinese.... luckily I had the first PCB design so I could change it to english or even an M3 Simply. I don't like the reader that came with it and I always use a micro SD adapter and then put it into my card reader instead.

If anyone of you guys were jonesing for a white case, let me know... Itll be rough going without my R4 for a few days, but I'd gladly swap my white for someones black.... I'm in Oklahoma, if you wanna judge shipping time. Probably wouldnt be more than a day or two sending around the US

I moved out of Michigan a few years back. Lansing was about an hour from where I lived. Now, its quite a bit farther than that. I hate Michigan

just got mine a few days ago, and it's the same as the OP has pictured. I would have liked a white case, rather than the black, since I have a white dsl. Other than that, it's perfect.

My microSD reader came completely apart a few mins ago lol. i was able to put "humpty" back together again, and it's still working.

I got my R4DS from kicktrading couple of weeks ago and it's a white one. For those who got the white version, what kind of USB microSD card reader do you have? The one I have is in a transparent black colour with "Trans Flash" written on it. It doesn't look anything like the one on the R4DS website.
