Hacking Modern Warfare: Reflex freeze

A fix has been found! Thanks to profscam for providing it!

CoD: Reflex disc fix!

Here's how you do it, in my words:

- Stand near your Wii and get ready to eject the disc.
- Go into the game, load Aftermath from Mission Select.
- Immediately after you press it, right as the loading bar appears, eject the disc.
- You should get a message saying "Insert Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition" or something along those lines. You heard the Wii, insert that bitch up!
- You'll be all loaded and past the cutscene, onto the Aftermath "level" (since it's a movie, right? I was too busy posting this to watch).
- Have fun with Act II and the rest of the game! You'll need to do this EVERY TIME you want to see Aftermath again. However, all the other levels load fine so far.

The release is a bad dump!

This copy is poorly recorded, and therefore contains bugs. Specifically, it has detected that the mode "Single Player" is incomplete, just finish the first act.

Was it GameSpot? I saw a guy had the same problem but was able to skip the cutscene. However, before the game loads it gets to the freezing part in the cutscene, so I don't see how this is possible.

I've got the same freeze using the following:

Cioscorp 3.5
Neogamma R7
Neogamma R8
USBLoader GX (latest Rev)
Wiiflow
Gecko 1.93

Just eject the disk once the level loads. Put it back in. The FMV finishes loading allowing you to skip.

lightyear's doesn't work, that's what I used. I think most other isos are just lightyears as well.

yeah on hippyfreaks thread he says its just a "DEMO" (no single player levels)? just multiplayer but your not supposed to play online!

A) Yeah, I read that. But that may be his own rip. He says NONE of the single player levels are avaliable. Lightyear's has all of them up to Aftermath, then freezes (unless the demo was supposed to go up to that).
B) The "don't play online" thing is still a rumor, I think. I haven't heard cases of anyone getting banned. I'm just not risking it.

Yeah, except it doesn't load in time before the freeze in the cutscene. Is it just luck if it loads fast or did you do something special?

I was actually thinking of a cheat code to unlock every level so we could just skip Aftermath.
