Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Known bugs: - Toggling the sound OFF hangs the emulator. - Saves are not working. Position the cursor in slot 000, 001, 002, 003, or 004, press right to go down one page. You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. (FIXED in build 20260803B) - 240p.txt file is not detected or generated when you launch the emulator from a USB device. Hi!
After install the hack to let the wiishop work on the 3.2 version, I go back to the systemmenu after loading. I have preloader installed, IOS v30, systemmenu v 290. What's wrong?
(I installed ios 51 before install).

Please help me out, thanks.

the new version of the shop channel needs IOS60 and IOS61...not 51

use WiiSCU 0.2, choose to install IOS60/61 (trucha sign reactivated or not), enjoy the new shop channel...

If you used WiiSCU and updated Shop Channel, which is what it sounds like, run WiiSCU again and install IOS 61. The new shop channel needs it. If you want, you can add fakesigning bug to it, but dunno if you really need to. Anyway, once you install IOS 61, you should be grand. You may need IOS 60 as well, dunno about that though.
