Ive been using linux for a week now and need some help with this. When i run it i get the message "cannot find any:Partition (verify permissions))" I know my drive is wbfs because my wii formatted it.

works a treat thankyou!!

for those of you who may not know how to use this in linux ; this is how i did it in linux ubuntu jaunty amd64

downloaded the .7zip file (wbfsgui)
--need 7zip..
apt-get install p7zip
p7zip -d WBFS_Gui.zip
--u need ruby..
apt-get install libglade2-ruby
--install all that
now to run the app!
--plug in your WBFS formatted hard drive now, ensure you see your USB drive in output from 'lsusb' and 'fdisk -l'
ruby gui [enter]
DO STUFF
enjoy!

ok now for the 'wbfs' app which it also comes with..
knowing my ext hdd is /dev/sdf, i issue the command
./wbfs -p /dev/sdf1 ls
this prints the list of games on /dev/sdf1 (wbfs formatted partition), although in linux it appears to be a HPFS/NTFS disk...

Try running the command with gksudo, you most likely need elevated right to do it.
