Hacking Tester Needed for New Homebrew Channel Hack

I have an unhacked Wii on 4.0. I've ALREADY purchased Super Mario Bros.
Am I safe to try this? Is it fairly brick safe? I can test it after work tonight if so.
 
A spoof of the HBC installer into a Virtual Console game. It ran on my console, so I figured furthur testing would need to be done. Remember that Super Mario Bros has to be installed to the SD card, then this copied into it's place. Do not attempt to copy it to your Wii as a channel, leave it on the SD card. You'll know if it works.
 
I will test it tonight- or even on my lunch break at work (my Wii's all packed up so I could take it to a smash bros tournament practice session tonight xD).
 
its a possible new way for people to install the homebrew channel if they are unlucky enough to have 4.0 installed before they did any wii hacking...
 
Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but doesn't work.

Tried using this on both a hacked Wii and a Virgin Wii. Both give me the same error "Can not open this Channel on this Wii"

You may be on to something, but doesn't currently work.

Mr FlooD, will you send me your original SMB content.bin file from your SD card. If I can match the strings which differ in the footer, then I might be able to write a faq on how to get it to run on anyones Wii.
 
sorry but are people really so stupid ? i know wich keys is used to encrypt the data.bin
channel imet = encrypted with the sd key and the sd channel imet & the actuall data with the prng seed and as you can only get the prng seed by running xyzzy you cant do shit with it

What it is a 4.0 hack to replace the TP hack because it doesnt work on 4.0 this guy tried to hack the Super Mario Bros VC game to be the Homebrew Channel Installer so that people on 4.0 can install the HBC. If he gets it to work then
