V0.4 IS OUT NOW GET IT HERE http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=158804

I have updated my GUI wrapper to include extracting .iso files, made deleting not require the actual .iso file, but just know the title id, and fixed a confusion with the "initialize partition" and

renamed that button "format partition"
Source is included as I stop trying to get macs to work

I just don't get them.

as always, put a compiled version of wbfs in your /usr/bin folder and run my tool as root

HERE IS THE GOOD (WORKING) wbfs BINARY. USE THAT IN YOUR /usr/bin FOLDER!

Just a cautionary post, make sure that you have a good version of wbfs. some people have reported errors using a bad compile. I am adding a link to the good version in the post.

Yea, that one's ok, could you compile it for me please? (I compiled friidump last night, but I had to jump through so many hoops that I'm not quite sure how I did it in the end

Thanks man - how did you compile it, if it isn't too involved to explain?
downloaded the file, changed directory to the extracteded folder typed "make" in terminal. you probably need a bunch of dev packages which I already had. So, I'm not sure which ones.

which linux binary of wbfs copies the complete iso to a wbfs partition?

most tools remove the updatepartiton...
I'd like to copy the complete iso to my hdd...

they don't cut the update partition.....just the unused data, otherwise how could they recreate a complete 4.37GB .iso file..??

Ether2802,
I don't know about the linux version.
but the windows version (before the usbloader 1.5 was released) usually copies all the disc, except the unused data and then gets rid of the VC/update part...
thus when you extract it, you only recover the game..
to test it, simply open one of your ISO with wiiscrubber...
then open the extracted version of the same ISO with wiiscrubber...
you will see the difference.

most of us do not need to keep the update partition anyway.
but some other like to have the option...

Hi cojiro,

Just wanted to express my gratitude for your neat and handy wrapper.

Thank you!

Are you open to any requests?

hello did you stop to develop this wrapper ? It is so handfull...

Where can I get the last wbfs binary for linux ? I mean, I got from the link you provided, but it seems there's a version out there that has rename function...
I don't know if I am saying something wrong, but the link you provided is oficial ???
