It's some kind of strategy game about a Japanese (or Chinese) War...I guess that's the education part, the history of the war.

But since I can't understand the text who knows, but it's some kind of strategy game based around some chinese guys I believe.

There's quite a few strategy games about this.. Nobunaga's Ambition, Sengoku Rance (tho, that one doesn't really stay true to the real history XD). Well, I guess the most well known character based on a person from that time would be Kenshin.

I would like to play an educational version with real historical facts, but my Japanese is way too limited for this game.

How to play "Sengoku Spirits Shukunden" on your DSTT and R4

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe. That's all.

Note:
This path is not only for "Sengoku Spirits Shukunden". It's one of game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.

The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

There are actually 3 versions of it, but the last one apparently hasn't been dumped yet (as far as I know at the time of this posting).

The last one is called Samurai Spirits: Gunshiden. I've translated the Samurai Spirits trailer here for anyone who gives a flying fack.
