You have a rear and need to rest it. With its breathable fabric, 4D armrests and built-in lumbar support, will the Noblechairs HERO TX Series satisfy your rear-resting needs?

Gaming chair manufacturer noblechairs recently launched its TX Series line of chairs. Simply put, they’re grooming their existing models (EPIC, ICON, HERO) with a fabric finish. We previously reviewed the non-fabric version of the HERO, so let’s see if this new model packs any improvements.

Out of its massive box, you’ll find every part and accessories you’ll need to set up the HERO. The assembly process isn’t too hard either; other than affixing one of the armrests, it was mostly a LEGO-styled affair. This was a very pleasant experience, especially after my not-so-pleasant assembly of a previous gaming furniture, the Nitro Concepts D16E desk.

Once put together, you can further fine-tune some of the chair’s features like the backrest tilt (from 90° to 125°), height, enabling/disabling the ‘rocker’ mechanism and the armrests. Regarding the latter, I noticed in the previous review that they wouldn’t move inwards/outwards but in the TX Series model, noblechairs seems to have addressed this issue and you can now move the armrests inwards/outwards, as well as move them up/down and sideways.

One really handy feature is the built-in lumbar support. With the side knob, you can adjust the curve of the backrest for a personalized fit. This really makes a difference as compared to just using a lumbar pillow which has a mostly fixed shape and can thus only help as much. But you know what’s better than a lumbar pillow or built-in lumbar support alone? Having both on the same chair; and noblechairs even went ahead to include them both in the HERO TX Series and this takes comfort to another level. With this combination, I feel like my back is really rested comfortably and can prevent backaches.

In addition to the lumbar pillow, you’ll find a head pillow included in the kit as well for added comfort for your head (which is complimented by the integrated memory foam headrest).

Adding to the comfort is the TX Series’ signature fabric. Breathable, durable and comfortable, sitting on the HERO with this finish feels like sitting on clothing. It is my first time using a gaming chair with a fabric finish and I must say I’m very fond of the feel of it and might even prefer it to traditional PU leather.

But since it’s made of fabric, you might be concerned about how well the material has been stitched to the frame. noblechairs delivers premium quality on this front. The TX Series Breathable Fabric is cut and stitched using industrial machinery, which ensures that the job is precisely and expertly done and this is reflected in the final product.

The final product does not only feel premium to sit on but also to look at. The Anthracite motif gives the HERO TX Series a stylish and classy look that will make it look good whether you use it for your gaming setup or office. No obnoxious gamer aesthetic to speak of here.

And as you might have guessed, this premium look and feel is accompanied by a premium price. The noblechairs HERO TX Series retails for £365 which might not be within everyone’s budget for a chair. However, you can consider it as an investment as this particular chair will last you for years and can easIly be used for work and play given its comfort and subtly classy aesthetics. Moreover, it’s incredibly comfortable to sit on for hours on end whether it’s to game or work.

Despite the focus on delivering a premium product, there are a few issues I’ve come across. Firstly, the lumbar pillow cannot be properly strapped around the chair. This is because there are no openings toward the top of the chair as in the noblechairs EPIC series for the buckle to go through. This leads to the straps to fall on the sides which still does manage to keep the pillow in place but isn’t as optimal as it would be with dedicated openings. Secondly, in the unit that I received, the noblechairs logo plate on the backrest is tilted. Thankfully, I was able to fix it manually.  This is a minor issue but if you come across it, know that you can fix it!

noblechairs also provided another accessory for the review: the footrest. While it does not use the TX Series fabric, the perforated PU leather and cold foam upholstery provides generous cushioning and comfort for your feet. The quality is on par with the chair itself and for a more custom fit, you can also adjust the footrest’s tilt by up to 57 degrees. However, at £120, it is quite a pricey accessory but if you can afford it, it will add to the overall comfort of using the chair.

All in all, with the TX Series fabric, the noblechairs HERO chair delivers premium comfort, aesthetics and quality. In fact, I am very fond of the fabric finish and its subtle look and would favor it over traditional PU finish that gaming chairs tend to adopt. It does have the price tag to match those attributes but as a long-term investment, it will enhance your current and future set up whether it’s for gaming or office work; and yes, it will do a damn fine job at resting your rear to boot.

People have to be incredibly gullible to spend $500 on a "gaming" chair, or xxxx amount on a "gaming" table. LMAO! I paid around half for my recliner and I will put any amount of $$$ down that it's far more comfortable than any of these "gaming" chairs.

I bought two of the leather noblechairs, one for me and one for waifu, and whilst they might be considered expensive by some (just under £500 each) it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. We spend quite a bit of time sat down at our computers so I felt I'd rather spend the money on the hard wearing/luxury option - and, boy-oh-boy, are they comfortable. Modded the neck pillow so it has a clip and then run it through the gaps in the head rest. It's perfect. These aren't chairs, they're thrones. Can't recommend them enough. If you can afford the cost, obvs.

Also, 'gullible'? :rofl2: Why should you care how people spend their money? Salary ranges vary. People with a higher expendible income will spend according to their budget. It's why Louis Vuitton exists.

More comfortable it may be, but is it comfortable AND good for your back? In most Recliners i know there is nearly no Support for your lumbal zone and also you tend to slack in Recliners. While these "Gaming" chairs (I would rather call them High End Desktop Chairs) provide a Stable sitting AND Comfortability. I mean yeah i would also rather sit in a Recliner in front of my TV but when im Working on my Desktop that is no option if i do not want Backache at Night and the next few days.
