just enable the encounter mode and encounter item rare candy cheat in the cheat list, then you can catch any pokemon, it will hold rare candy

Simply, assume you want the protein, but you don't know the code and you don't have it (to further use EdiZon).
But you have Exp. Candy XS number 745

First go to Breeze, 'start search' for 745 in u16
You will get many results, but don't worry. Press B
Go back to the game
Consume your number of items
The number is 743. Go back to Breeze
Please click to 'continue search'

Please find at least 5-6 results after this step. Press 'show candidates' - and 'Memory explorer'
You will find a code called (flt:524) you wouldn't have the same code as me
But please note that your [0*1FC9DDE490] must be different from mine and it will be different every time you restart the game. You will find (1124) in this code
So change (1124) to the code of the item you want e.g. I want protein(46) and then go back to the game
You will find that the experience candy will become a protein, but please patience

Please give this item to your Pokémon and bring at least 4 -6
Please return to Breeze and change (46) back to (1124)

The game will resume as normal
You can continue to increase the number of this item using the above method or use Edizon
Please note it is best to operate on the same type of item

open the boxes menu, all pokemon you catch will appear in that, select a pokemon then choose put away held item.

a few pages back someone mentioned MEM_MAPPED needs to be checked and it fixed his, I checked and mine was off too, enabled and then everything worked could find most things in 2 scans.

Open cheat engine>Edit>Cheat engine settings>Scan Settings and you should see it just above thread priority.

it was disabled for me, it works now thanks.
